"Just stopped in on our way back to Ontario for lunch. What an absolutely charming establishment! We ate lunch on the terasse (patio), and started off with two Bloody Caesar’s which were well made. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was delicious (big fat shrimp and homemade cocktail sauce) as was the tomato bocconcini salad. I ordered the fish chips for a main and my husband ordered the butterfly shrimp plate. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The batter on my fish was the best I’ve ever had, so light with the perfect crispness, with homemade tartar sauce and the fries are definitely cut in-house too. My husbands butterfly shrimp were cooked to perfection. Sitting in that garden-style patio on a beautiful day had us feeling like we were somewhere on a romantic vacation. Keep doing what you’re doing Mon Village! We’ll be back!"

"Had a great lunch! He had the local hot dog and I had crab salad with a lot of avocado. We both tried the Tumeric, ginger, lime juice elixir. Oh, my God! Amazing drink and food was great! Music is a little loud, I was warned, but still... great food and healthy drink."

"Visited padrona last night and sat out on the patio. The inside decor is actually really beautiful but it was the first nice night of the summer so we opted for outdoors. The chairs were very comfortable and the service was fantastic. My friend and I tried the charcuterie board, pickled veggies, onion dip and duck rillette. We had intended to stop in for a drink and a snack and continue on to another spot for dinner but we were so happy with Padrona that we stayed put and just kept trying more menu items. Looking forward to returning."

"Wish I could leave 0 stars!!! We stopped in a couple of years ago and loved the tea. Tried it again a couple of weeks ago and again, the tea was sooo good but the place was empty, dirty and the one woman working alone was not very pleasant at all. Went back today and it was again empty and we had to wait several minutes for someone to appear at the counter from the back. We let her know we would be ordering 8 bubble teas to go and she rolled her eyes at us and let out a huge sigh. We asked if she didn’t want our business and she threw her hands up in the air with disgust and another eye roll. We let her know that we travelled 30 minutes round trip to be there and we would never do business again there, still no change in her attitude. This place has really gone down hill with an absentee owner and a woman who clearly hates her job and people. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Never again going back."
