"Really good atmosphere, staff and cats wonderful, would have got 10 out of 10 but one of our dishes(chicken nuggets) wasn't great Wanted to take cats home, especially Crinkle , Mercury and Priscilla, not sure our cat would approve though !The cats and kittens are free to do as they please, they can get away if they want to, rules were necessary and easy to follow, furniture comfy and relaxed Would recommend to any cat lover ????????"

"We’ve tried a few tasting menus but this stood out on its own as being far and away the worst! It was a horrible wet day and we hoped we’d be able to get warm in the restaurant when we arrived. No chance … the place was freezing, it’s a cellar basically, which was a precursor to a dreadful afternoon. Started ok with a nice aperitif and a snack which was delicious. Plummeted from there unfortunately. Our first taste was a sea urchin emulsion which was barely emulsified) and I can honestly say that it was the most vile thing I have ever been served. The signature prawn arrived next … tasty enough but barely even warm. A tasty little cold soup was next three spoonfuls then some cod which I quite enjoyed but was it Michelin star quality… no far from it. Duck was next and mine was ok if very over seasoned. However my wife’s was inedible. It was sent back but no offer of another dish was made … the chef acknowledged it was poor was what we were told!! Arrogance! We were offered a glass of dessert wine … but having already told them we were driving that wasn’t the cleverest thing to offer. A couple of pretty desserts were next pretty but nothing special. We did get a decent amount off the bill on departure but it did nothing to remedy what was a terrible experience. We had travelled a fair distance in terrible weather they have a very inflexible cancellation policy … basically you can’t! The portions are tiny and none of the hot dishes were any warmer than tepid. And finally …. The music!!! If you’re expecting nice background music forget it! If you like thrash metal though you might have a great time!!!"

"Will not return. Drinks order missed so watched people around us get served, no apology from waitress, just said bar was busy, the restaurant was not busy and manager confirmed order was forgotten/missed. Food orders were also being delivered to other tables that arrived after us and when ours did arrive after about 40 mins it was luke warm. Taken away and replaced. Manager said “ I have taken the initial items off bill so you will only be charged for the new ones” I should hope so, why would I pay for cold food! 2 drinks given free in exchange for slow service, cold food and a long wait. Maybe take more care of your customers in your restaurant as it seemed more focus was on just eat orders as these were flying out the kitchen."

"The service is very friendly, a smile and a laugh with the girl behind the time, and she was happy to help with recommendations. it was late evening and so was a bit quiet, but it took a long time to be ready. but eating when it was finished was great. good portions and the dish had a layer of textures and aromen. very much enjoyed it and recommend it to others who are looking for others on the menu"
