"This is my new sushi place in LB. The staff here was spectacular. We mentioned it was my daughters birthday and the waitress Sam was so kind and sweet and doted on her. We showed them my 11yos favorite sushi roll from our sushi spot back home and they figured which of their rolls was most similar. Our second waitress brought out ice cream with a candle and a birthday song and everyone in the restaurant clapped and sang. My daughter almost cried with surprise. The food was great. And the place has dedicated parking."

"This is my goto place whenever I am in need of a healthy bfast option to alternative. I love the fact that they have online ordering. By the time I arrive it is always ready to go. In regards to the staff: they are great. They always greet you at the door and I have absolutely no complaints there. In regards to location: I LOVE the fact that they validate parking at the structure right next to the location. That is super super useful because it is hard to find parking anywhere in that part of town. Will I return? Of course. ALready have a number of times so I figured I'd finally rate it. "Plates dished from the kitchen is extremely slow. An average wait time is 20-25 minutes, but wait is worthwhile because the food has authentic flavors. The staff exuberant and extremely friendly. The ginger chicken with lemon grass is fabulous."

"My first time here, I was a little skeptical about quality, but the sashimi I ordered was delicious. Kudos to the chef for pairing some fish with yuzu and searing other fish. Happy hour from 12-6pm makes it worthwhile."

"Portland esque ambiance, complete with record shop next door. Love the woodsy interior, and outside eating area. We ate at the community table which takes the front window area and is center to everything. The menu is predominantly vegetarian, with only a few meat dishes. Vegan options are also front and center which makes this place an easy hit for herbivores. The tofu scramble is awesome. Will definitely be going back loved my breakfast, but I'll have to check out their happy hour!"

"Was very good! Everything was so fresh and it's better to order directly from them for delivery, Uber eats charges 5$ more per dish and the delivery fee for this place is only 2$. They get my money over Uber eats any day"

"I wanted to update my review to note that the last time I was, may told me that on request from some of their other vegan customers, they put together a completely separate vegan menu to make the restaurant even more veggie friendly! I'm very cool, though, as far as I'm concerned, they're already doing a good work make vegan feel welcome and visited: I'm obsessed with mai 's they don't have the funst location, in which sense that they 're not in the heart of the city or near cool retro row, but the restaurant itself is lovable, and their food is hardcore authentic thai and so delicious! may even come to the dining room to check everything out, and because they get to know their customers so well, they really respond to their needs. the server are also always beautiful and full of knowing about what is veg and what is not, so if they are unsure, just ask. there are other Thai restaurants in long beach with better locations, but no with better foods. her special thing about the day is often vegetarian, and they offer both white and brown rice I appreciate. our favourite dishes are currently the pineapple frying, the tofu with young ingwer and the red veggie curry! amazing eating, great ambiente come to mai 's! updated by the previous review on Tuesday, 19th juli 2011"

"If you checkin from Yelp they give you a free ginger shot! I got this bohemian orange drink and I regret not getting the bigger size it was so yummy! I'm excited to go back and try a different flavor. Staff was super helpful and nice as well. Also if you collect the containers and return them you can get a free beverage!"
