"We had a group of 7 and the restaurant sat us right away, service was fast, excellent recommendations and high quality food. Staff was friendly, funny and professional, making the meal feel upscale but at reasonable prices. Setting is awesome right in the river and many sites to see all around. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Bend!"

"Had the pineapple fried rice and it was fantastic, only enough heat to only burn, but not burn you up. Great taste! Enjoy the Mango sticky rice for dessert and it is brilliant! Very recommend both articles. Service was great, never had an empty glass, the only drawback is... Look Do not make the menu items on the website, the prices and from $3-5. Except if you are in downtown Pitt, visit Nicky’s!"

"Hokkaido reminds me of my high school years living with my mom. We fought a lot, sometimes we didn?t talk to each other, but my mom was, and still is my best supporter. Some days I just asked my mom to go Hokkaido, and she would always say yes and drivethirty minutes for me. Yesterday was the first time in four years that I have stopped by Pittsburgh since I left for college.This time, I was by myself because my mom went back to Korea and the rest of my family are in Korea. I ate quietly, and lookedaround the place while eating, thinking about where we sat when we were here. It?s so cliche, but after all those boring andmundane days has past, I only realized that those good and relaxing days spent with my mom is never coming back. Hokkaido maynot be the best quality sushi buffet, but I can picture my mom?s love towards me whenever I think about the place."

"Despite living so close to this place for a couple of years, I somehow wasn?t motivated to try it out until yesterday when my mom was craving Thai at 9pm. This seemed open at that hour and we walked in. It really is a lot nicer inside than it seems from the outside. We were promptly seated and ordered their vegetarian appetizer sampler to start with the papaya salad. Both were pretty good. The eggplant crisps are definitely recommended. Their menu is full of vegetarian options and nearly all their dishes can be made vegetarian! Yay! We ordered the green curry with vegetables for our main course and the Thai-basil fried rice. Their serving sizes are quite large and we ended up taking a lot of food home. I did think that a lot of their sauces, dips and even the curry tended towards the sweeter side..tasty though. I?m not sure if that was because we emphasized ?no spicy at all? or if that?s how it is. I?m definitely going back and checking out more items on their menu. Curry fried rice for one caught my eye! Also, don?t miss their lemon ginger tea. It was the most soothing end to a great hearty meal on a cold night."
