"Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan cake heaven. Amazing little shop with a secret garden round the back! I walked past this shop for over a year, and struggled to find a good gluten free cake shop anywhere in Portsmouth. One day I though let’s see what this shop has, and to my suprise lots and lots of choice.. Now onto the coffee, personally for me it’s spot on. I would much rather come here than the Costa just up the road. The owners are lovely and very friendly, and spend time chatting to their customers (when they have time .. they seem to have lots of regulars which is always a good sign. The do food too, although I only ever get cake !! And breakfast wraps occasionally gluten free of course. They do a breakfast club and an afternoon cake club deals. And when I ask they are happy to give me used coffee grounds to take home for my compost. Honestly you have to try this place :"

"The Hong Kong Teabar is under new ownership and the experience seems to have improved. At first I noticed changes to the dishes and thought that it was going to be a change for the worse but after going back a few times more I think it's actually better than it was before. The old owners seem to have plenty of issues with environmental health which was always a bit of a downer when the food seemed good. I spoke to the new proprietor soon after he took the business on and he seemed like a decent person. I will be continuing my weekly visit because I love the place. I took my visiting friend there and he used to live in Portsmouth. He said he'd walked past it many times without knowing how good the food was and claimed that his Kung Po Chicken with Singapore noodles was the best chinese food He'd ever eaten."

"One of our restaurants for everyone! the sign says it all kind eating, delicious people! this cozy old fishing house, houses a fantastic restaurant! the menu is always seasonal before location, owner and cook lawrence is a master of the herde and has a fantastic knowledge in the kitchen and the front of the house team is led by its charming woman. great weinlist too. fat olives is very popular so booking is essential and do not forget to play first in the blue bell for a drink!"

"The Tuesday taco deals are really good! Great food and staff were super attentive will definitely be back! Not a fan of the Black card 2 for 1 cocktail situation but they do offer 2 for 1 on certain cocktails at certain times"

"I've been getting food delivered from Bento Box for years. It's honestly my favourite takeaway in the city! The food is consistently great, arrives pretty quickly and tastes really fresh. No idea why there are so many negative reviews, this place is a diamond in the rough! Their satay bowls with rice, spring rolls and a fried egg are especially excellent."
