"This is the second time we have visited Chef Stanzer's exceptional restaurant in Rabou. The first was with a large party celebrating the wedding of our son and his wife. We could not say enough good things about this restaurant and we have traveled to France for over 40 years and have eaten in some wonderful establishments. Chef Stanzer and his wife are the most gracious hosts. This is a very traditional restaurant in the classic sense. Prior to the meal, Chef Stanzer announces what he has prepared for all. From the amuse bouche to the wonderful desserts this is world class dining in the truest sense. Ingredients are locally sourced when available. Even though this visit was with just six people, the service and food were equally wonderfully. The long hike into the restaurant is breathtaking in it's scenery and the restaurant in a totally renovated, hundreds of years old building, is well worth the walk. If you want to eat classic French food prepared with great care and precision, you should take the opportunity to eat here. We cannot wait to visit again!"
