"When entering I was asked something in Spanish. I do not speak Spanish. I do not look like if I could.After a „pardon me“, the same Spanish phrases were repeated. Still did not understood it.After a „sorry, I do not understand“, the guy mumbled something in Spanish. Then guided us to a table. We asked for a booth. The guy was pretty annoyed, took it from the table and threw it on to the next booth table.A rude welcome.The disappointment did not stop here.My girlfriend ordered a focaccia. It took them way way longer to prepare it than my pizza.It came and had rotten lettuce on it. A replacement was offered, we accepted a new focaccia.After completely finishing my pizza the new focaccia arrived.It had again rotten lettuce on it.At least the manager offer refund and compensation. Hence the reason for 2 stars. Otherwise it would have been just 1.The BBQ chicken pizza was fine, as well as the soups.The visit was overall pretty underwhelming.??Hope the just bill my credit card with the promised amount and not with the original value. We’ll see."

"Tradition continues with our less than stellar acai bowls in Santa Monica. We only had this here, and for $12 per $2 less than our favorite and massive Basik Cafe bowls in SF and $2 MORE than our other loves of Paradise Bowls in Manhattan Beach), which are no deal or super delicious. I would say everyone likes to say that Acai bullets are healthy, and you really feel it, but maybe not in the best way. The bowl comes with a bright purple acai, much less sweet than other acai we had. It is well mixed to have more of a Sorbet texture, although not liquid-y or frozen, which is good). It is filled with granola, coconut and frozen blueberries. No honey and no fresh fruit. I don't understand why it's so hard to hack some fresh fruit for some of these places. The fresh fruit makes a massive difference, and also you don't get so free after you finish the bowl. The fruit is one of our favorite parts of other bowls when mixed with the Acai. The coconut was here rather bland and very small flakes, as if they were at the end of a container of low quality coconut. The granola is fine to write nothing at home, but it works. The bowl is what I would call small-to-medium. It serves better as a snack, because as a breakfast you need more food in a few hours, unlike Basik or Paradise Bowls. Service is good, not too friendly, but good enough. There are a couple of stools to sit, but be careful, it will go loud with the mixers all the time."
