"I was really looking forward to a nice Chinese, but this was awful. Beef in black bean sauce had no beans in it and was very watery and peppery. Hardly any meat but loads of chopped onions. Feel ripped off. Sorry but can't recommend."

"Have been several times and although cozy it can go a good atmosphere. at my first 8 it was closed three times and opened for a private function on the other. they seem a bit lax with hit advertised opening times. a beer garden was finally opened in winter, as a local grinch resists most local developments."

"Popped into Yardbird as we wanted a sweet treat and having looked at their menu there were some great choices. The desserts were incredible. Sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble with custard really hit the spot. Staff were friendly and accommodating even though it was...fairly busy. Will definitely come back here."

"I have had takeaway on a couple of occasions, including their fish dishes and Ackee and Saltfish. Eating in, I recently had their Jerk Chicken it may not be the best jerk in Manchester but Mama Flo’s has undeniable authentic charm."

"Can not believe the level of poor service I have received from this restaurant tonight. Ordered several dishes but mine came without the sauce, took them 30 mins to bring it to me, by which time the food was cold and ruined at 7 months pregnant I'm not in the mood for reheated food esp since the rest of my party had already eaten. Told me they'd call me back and didn't, upon me calling them again they declared they wouldn't give me a refund as I had shredded the duck I'd ordered, although not eaten it. The driver has taken the food but no refund for me! Needless to say we will not be giving this restaurant any further business and will be advising our friends of the poor customer service they provide! One rather hungry customer"

"Stopped here for a bacon sandwich and a cuppa tea people behind the counter all doing something so i had to wait a little while untill one decided to take my order Eat in or out I was asked. In please'...i replied, and took a seat at a rickety table next to the window four small tables are availlable at the end of the counter Food and drink arrived the Bap was not as fresh as i would have hoped (at in the morning) and the bacon was not cooked enough (the fat was still opaque) i ripped off the fat and ate the sandwich. I paid which on exiting the premises found I had been chgarged an extra for the luxury of sitting at the little table REALLY??? so if four of us went in for a sarnie each, the bill would have been loaded with a charge. I'm in the wrong business!! Will I go again I don't think so. . . ."
