"I was thrilled to try coffee in wellington and find out for me weather auckland or wellington did the best coffee and hands down wellington won this round. this Artsy coffee shop though small has a lot to offer. this ingwer and rhubarb donut was to die, coffee on point, but the cheese toast with dill and pickle stole the show for me"

"Excellent food and service at Sahara. Ate in and their meals are huge. Would highly recommend and will definately be going back. Staff are very freindly and am looking forward to our next visit to Wellington so we can head back there again."

"Not bad....little bit disappointed with the food. Chicken overcooked, but fantastic favours in the soup itself. Beers was tasty...nothing on draught tho. Worth checking out. The view of the harbour is outstanding. The photo posted is not quite the same view...but gives you a flavour of what you may be able to see...particularly if you sit near the windows during sunset. Hope that helps."

"The service was excellent and atmosphere perfect for any occasion. The food was really outstanding in taste and overall balance of flavors<br/ so well done kitchen, great effort and I enjoyed looking at it as well as consuming every mouthful. The price is average, but if you balance that against the quality of the ingredients and flavor then I have to say it becomes competitive.<br/ <br/ I recommend this as a great place to eat on any occasion and will definitely be going again. Most enjoyable high quality dining experience.<br/ And we did go again for our wedding anniversary and the comments above I would make again. My wife booked the Chef's tasting menu and when the first dish came out it was cured Salmon, my wife loved it and I hate Salmon so politely asked for a switch and without any negative words or posture it was switched with a short time to a delicious pate with bread crisps and other tasty treats....outstanding in service and food flavours. The dishes came out one after the other with exceptional service and tasted like ......go and try it as it is superb and words will fail those tastes, we loved the evening and to top all there was a special gesture at the end of the evening that made it a perfect anniversary dinner! Highly recommended for any occasion and yes will be going back soon :"

"I come here often enough that I don’t think to comment. I should. It is good... although it can be intensely busy and so you need to be phlegmatic on occasions. It is a favoured place for breakfast. Last week, an evening meal with friends returning to the UK. Amongst the pleasures for those at the table were a squid starter that managed a soft bite and great counterpoint salad,, grilled asparagus and borlotti beans, walnut, apple and chickpea pancakes, slow cooked lamb, unnecessary but excellent deserts. We messed the staff around by being late and stayed longer than we should. There wasn’t a moment’s impatience from the staff, whatever their private frustrations. Our Liverpudlian waiter was thoughtful and friendly and humorously underlined the adage that you can take the man out of the place but not the place out of the man."

"This was the second place of three today where we had eggs Benedict. It was pretty busy inside but we managed a seat I the light room.. I enjoyed my food with the eggs poached on top of an English muffin. Slightly cheaper at $16.50 so a really nice place."

"Family-run restaurant with a beautiful inviting atmosphere and separate vegan menu beautifully curated by one of the team. We sat on the elevated second level and ordered a Tarka Daal (yellow split lentils boiled with cumin seed, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and turmeric) and Amritsari Chole (Chickpeas boiled with ginger, garlic, onions and tomatoes, finished with freshly ground spices) served with rice and garlic naan bread. The vegan wine we originally selected was not available so we had a few refreshing bottles of crispy cold Kingfisher instead. A most rewarding experience in fact"
