"The restaurant degusta belongs to the hotel chancillería, located on the street of the same name, in the heart of the old town of jerez the restaurant has 2 spaces: an interior, simple but elegant and very cozy, that gives to the street; and the other exterior. This is certainly the strong point of the restaurant. tables are placed on the small lawn that is at the back of the hotel. a well next to the old wall that delimits the space, confers an almost magical touch to the place in terms of the food, we ask the tasting menu. We were 2 people and for 18 euros each, they gave us to try 7 of the dishes - that yes, are minimal rations to share, so we really don't fill. I have the attention that the dessert (sorbete of lemon served in a glass of champagne) was also to share. but well, it is already known, in modern restaurants tends to scarce the amount of quality. the best of the menu: the cochinillo entrusted on the other hand, the service seemed very friendly and attentive, making our experience in the restaurant out of the most pleasant and as a final point, the hotel has an impressive terrace from which you can contemplate much of the center of the cherries. the terrace is open (when there is good weather) from the afternoon, and offer live music - especially jazz and blues- and own brats, made with brandy, called fernanditos."
