"We were treated like royalty from the moment we entered the restaurant. We were looked after by three wonderful people people. we were given a large complementary bowl of prawn crackers which was a great touch. The wine we wanted was unavailable but they gave us a generous glass of tasters of the alternative! Likewise the sampler of curry sauce I got to try test how spicy it was. It was just the ticket, by this time the empty prawn cracker bowl had been replaced! Our meals arrived, special curry for me, all good but the highlight was the beautifully cooked fresh prawns. My wife had in her words the best chicken chow mien she 'd ever had. Thanks to all the team for making it a truly memorable meal."

"We discovered this amazing Chinese restaurant by chance. Our first impression was the place seemed dated and we were the only customers, which was a little daunting. The food, however, was excellent. Our son asked for a dish he normally eats at home, and they were happy to oblige making it...he said it tasted amazing. We all had a main course, plus drinks and the bill was £23. A brilliant find in Dumfries. We recommend you try it the next time you're in Dumfries."

"We were touring around the Lockerbie area and looking for somewhere to have a spot of lunch when we came across this old school now a popular community centre . We had excellent homemade soup of the day , leek and potato , followed by homemade cheesecake both were delicious . What a good idea to turn a redundant school into such a thriving and popular community base for the locals and visitors , we had a warm welcome and immediately felt at home"
