"I have visited this chippy for 7 years now. The fish is freshly cooked to order when you arrive. They do nuts and bolts fish and chips brilliantly. I was surprised their rating was so low. I would recommend them to anyone."

"The Bell is a great place to eat offering bar meals and at weekends the restaurant is open for Sunday roast. The meat served there is very tender. They also have an outside space with tables for those who have called in for a drink. I'm not sure if they serve food outside. Their award winning pies are large and full of good quality locally sourced meat. I love steak and kidney pies, but I find the ones here a little too salty for my taste. Others I have been with don't share my view I must add. I prefer their chicken pies."

"Simply good pizza. The oven makes a big difference. Good dough, good cheese, good toppings, real fire ... If I had one wish: The gluten-free pizza base is not the best. With the experience of these guys, it should be possible to make a real pizza gluten-free. Caputo makes an excellent gluten-free pizza flour. "We were struggling to find a nice restaurant that offered a decent gluten-free offering, and decided to stop off at Buckingham having looked this place up on Tripadvisor. Really impressed. A small place, but lots of character and the staff were great. Plenty of options for starters, mains and desserts with a good gluten free choice (about which the staff were knowledgeable), and actually some novel and interesting choices. Really enjoyed our meal, good atmosphere, and a reasonable price. If you're looking for a good meal at a reasonable price you can't go wrong. For starters we had Macho Nachos (gluten-free) and prawn tostada. For mains the Jamaican Lamb Curry (gluten-free) and the Surf and Turf Burrito. Dessert Churros, Warm Chocolate Brownie (gluten-free) and the Vanilla Panna Cotta. All really good, and good size helpings. Recommend you pay them a visit."
