"Paprika was a very special place during my visit to Bastia. Stephanie and Bernard are wonderful hosts and were very fun to talk with in broken French : In fact, I ate three meals there because every dish I tried was so incredible! I have celiac disease, so I have to eat gluten free. I ate so incredibly well because of this restaurant. My first night in Bastia, I tried the wok de la mer dish and a GF beer both so satisfying and delicious! I ordered a slice of orange cake with whipped cream and berries for dessert. I later had the stir fry and the indian daal. It was also handy to take my meals to go so I could picnic at the port or head back to my apartment. The homemade bread is a MUST try I have never, ever found gluten free bread like that in America! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, whether you are in Bastia for a visit or just passing through. The food here was one of my top highlights in Corsica :"

"Alors dès que vous rentrez chez Bernard ( Paprika) vous vous exposez à être très agréablement surpris : l ´accueil chaleureux par ce personnage atypique et attachant qu'est le maitre des lieux, puis sa cuisine innovante, créative et succulente.L'endroit idéale pour tout Vegan qui souhaite démontrer à son entourage que notre alimentation est tout sauf ennuyeuse et fade !Il existe également des plats omni car le monsieur est très ouvert d'esprit .Bref, un endroit agréable ou passer une belle soirée sur Bastia."
