"Me and my friends were out on chapel street. And we wanted to have some greasy food like a really nice burger or fries. Lord of the fries came along our way. After we ordered my friend, who had asked the cashier if there is...any vegetarian food, we found out that it is an all vegetarian restaurant. I don 't mind vegetarian food as I was a vegetarian myself for 6 years, but wtf! Please let people know before they order that they don 't get any meat. Next to that, I think the food is way overpriced, and the 'meat ' wasn 't even worth being called a meat replacement..."

"I LOVE this little cafe. I always come when I'm in Melbourne because I know I can find yummy food that will make me feel great. The staff are caring and friendly and the coffee is delicious. "Come here for family dinners at least once a fortnight. Family friendly place and our kids love the Peking Duck, great choice of dumplings and steak dishes. The service is friendly and efficient They also allow BYO (very rare these days)"

As soon as we set foot inside, the small but cosy interior instantly made me feel at home. Perfect for the casual late morning brunch catch up, or a sweet late arvo couple date.<br/ <br/ Customer service<br/ As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the cheerful staff working there. They were extremely nice, friendly and helpful for the entire hour we were there.<br/ <br/ Food<br/ Do not let the small size of the cafe fool you into thinking it is just an ordinary cafe. Quite the opposite, it is anything but from vegan pancakes and scrambled tofu, to nourishing buddha bowls and asian stir fries, the menu has you covered for breakfast and lunch.<br/ We chose to go with the falafel bowl and the green sister stir fry with tahini dressing. I must say it did not disappoint at all. Filled with all the veggies (braised cauliflower, roasted capsicum, mildly spicy but utterly satisfying falafels, pickled cucumbers, lima beans, bok choy, bamboo shoots and tofu just to name a few), it is sure to fill you up with nutritional goodness while bringing your stomach the happiness it deserves a double win win!"

"Came to Chatty Vespa in a group of 4 people. We ordered 3 pizza's and 2 pasta's between us and as a whole we were all super impressed! Being local I have tried most of the pizza/pasta in the area and this is by far a step up on all of the others in the area.All of the ingredients tasted fresh and portion sizes were spot on and the service was fantastic.With a few seats outside the people watching is a view in itself, quality lookers in the area."

"Having lived in the vicinity of this restaurant for many years and seeing their pizzas being made in their wood fired pizza oven , we decided to visit with a group of friends , to check out La Piazza Allegra for ourselves. Well , to be honest we were served the worst pizza ever , even Dominoes $5 pizza tastes much better. As for their salads , i think a child could do a better job . Coffees were just warm , only live music saved our evening from being a complete disaster . I do not think we will visit again . Avoid."

"Falafels are so good here! Some of the best I've had. Self serve salads are really yum and fresh. It's great as you can get as much as you'd like. Everything is clearly labeled whether it's vegan/vegetarian/gluten free etc."
