"The food is wonderful here. I had a corn and mackerel appetizer that was very inventive and delicious. Same for the perfectly grilled piglet. Service was also very good friendly and efficient. Prices were high but reasonable for the quality. Ambience is a mixed bag. It’s a nice restaurant but hotel guests have to walk through the center of the restaurant if they want to access the pool or restaurant on the 7th floor. Also, a lot of guests were wearing shorts and T shirts so no need to dress up. Overall, a very good restaurant, though, and a great choice for high end dining in Ponta Delgado."

"Wonderful restaurant. My family went there three times. We kept trying other places and they didn’t measure up. We got the fresh (whole) fish, octopus, bacalhau, chicken skewers, steak. All were very fresh, well prepared and came with many sides. The owner Sonia is very friendly and warm. Highly recommend!!!"

"I have a lot of time for places which keep it simple and do simple really well. This is one such place. The menu is basic but certainly from our experience everything on it is amazing. We visited on a rainy and actually quite chilly day. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff. Our menu choices consisted of delicious soup, really simple salads but full of flavour and great ingredients and finally exceptional cakes and loose leaf teas. The icing on the cake for the whole experience was the price for the whole meal which was incredibly great value"
