"First .. don’t follow happy cow map, find this amazing place by plugging in the name to google maps. Once you find it, you will love not only the chilled vibe but the food. We had the carrot burger with a fresh salad and the corn empanadas and a brownie with coconut whip. Delicious."

"The concierge at Hacienda Del Mar recommended La Patrona to us. Wow! Not only was it a beautiful setting filled with great artwork, but the food and service might be the best in San Jose Del Cabo. This is very refined dining where nothing is overlooked. After a very good Caesar salad, I had the Seafood crepes. Stuffed with copious amounts of fresh local lobster, they were delicious. Oscar, our server, was great and left of wanting for nothing. After enjoying our meal, both the chef and the owner stopped by our table at different times to inquire of our experience. We will certainly return and remember La Patrona."

"Recently visited Cabo for a week. Went into the town of San Jose del Cabo for Thursday night art walk. Had a surprisingly great meal at El Espontaneo. The food may sound a little simple on the menu, but when it comes to the table...you are in for a nice surprise. Extremely gourmet tasting, and beautifully presented. Apps: Ribeye Burrito (actually more like a very fancy and delicious egg roll ; Boudin Balls rival anything in New Orleans; Stacked Tomato Salad; Mexican Pizza was on the thinnest crust I 've ever seen and simply amazing! Next time, I will order appetizers for all of my courses...they were that good!"

"Absolutely amazing space in downtown San Jose. I had the pleasure of sampling a handful of menu items; each and every one was incredible. I can confidently say that anything chosen from their beautiful menu of fresh offerings will leave you fuller, happier, and healthier than when you arrived. The heart and soul both the owner and her staff put into not only the food, but the energy of the cafe, is incredible. A wide selection offers vegan and vegetarian friendly, raw, and gluten free options. Creative comfort food, that is extraordinarily priced. As if this place could get any better, yoga classes by donation are offered throughout the week - check their Facebook page for the most current schedule. Located directly behind the church, on the same street as Jazmin's, El Wine Shop, and Flora's. An absolute must when in Los Cabos."

"Staff was knowledgeable about GF items on the menu. They were able to oven bake a corn tortilla for me to substitute the regular corn tortillas that come with guacamole. Tacos are delicious and the drinks are worth it!"
