"Meal was ok. Definitely not worth what we paid for. Burger is with salad and if you want chips it's an extra $3.50 per plate. Mind you it's half a handful of chips. Completely ripped off!"

"Hosts were friendly and inviting. Despite being busy with a large party, our meals came out quickly. The food was fresh and delicious. Air Conditioning was awesome... the dining room was an Oasis of cool on the 40deg day."

"Just ordered a chicken and cheese sandwich got strange little bit of chicken yucky cheese and stale bread no butter asked for butter that arrived with much reluctance I tried to eat it but just the middle bit the bread as it was so stale...Said to owner that I shouldn’t have to pay for that and he could see most of it still on my plate as could not eat it he said then you should have sent it back untouched you ate it you pay How can a cafe get a chicken sandwich wrong Don’t go to this place use to be one of the best in town new owners have wrecked it Don’t waste your money It’s just yucky Owner obviously wants to go out of business quickly"

"We were in Tamworth for the weekend and after a couple of average meals elsewhere we were recommended to try The Tamworth. Glad we did, the food was great. Simple menu, well cooked with quality ingredients and good sized portions. The staff were super friendly and the service was spot on. We had a big group (11 of us) but i didn't hear one complaint and everyone was more than happy with their meals - they all looked delicious. It's a beautiful old pub as well, nice ambience. Reading the reviews here it looks like it's under new management so they must be in process of renovating and freshening the place up whilst making the most of it's character.. Keep up the good work - you're on a winner with the kitchen."

"We opportunistically stumbled into store in Tamworth to check out the organic produce that the signage alluded to and we weren't disappointed. Along with isles of wonderful healthy organic products together with the opportunity to buy in bulk, we discovered this delightful cafe situated at the front right-hand side of their premises in Marius Street. Despite us being time-poor on the day we visited we had a fantastic 'spelt' bread sandwich filled with oodles of gorgeous roasted veggies followed by a fantastic protein/energy slice covered in slivered almonds and drenched in honey. We capped these meals off with herbal teas which were absolutely sublime. This visit to Wray's Tamworth was a wonderful distraction on a day filled with driving and medical appointments. Can't wait to return to try some of the other experiences on their menu."
