"Really loved the freshness and quality of the food. After been to Thailand several times and had cooking lessons this restaurant serves the most authentic Thai Food I have eaten in Melbourne. We eat here at least 4 times a month...never dissapointed."

"We came to General Food Co for brunch and were impressed. The staff were attentive and warm upon arrival suggesting a great seat in the Courtyard. Our table ordered the hot cakes with maple syrup with bacon and scrambled eggs and they were delicious. The hot cakes were fluffy and light, the bacon was crispy and cooked to perfection. The avocado, tomato and spinach were fresh and toast was crunchy. A great relaxed location for people wanting to meet friends for breakfast or lunch and as an added bonus pet friendly.Would come again!"

"The owner of the cafe is arrogant and rude. Don't try to ask a question because he will respond abruptly and crudely. The service is poor and the food is way overpriced for the quality. After ordering a coffee, it arrived without a table spoon. I politely asked for one but it didn't come, so I asked again, and although it come quickly, the coffee was cold.I gave the cafe another go a few weeks later, and there was little improvement! Give this place a miss!!"

"Great food, and even better value, this place, a fish café with several tables and chairs, has three specials a day on the blackboard, my wife had snapper chips and salad, and I had calamari chips and salad, the best calamari Ive had in ages, and it was only $12 EACH, No licence, but cans of soft drink are only a dollar each, Willy is a great place to wander, parks a pier, old shops and this place is just the icing on the cake, there is a pub next door, so you can get pot after your fish and chips, we did, this place is great"
