"While staying in Berlin, we decided to see if we could find an Italian Restaurant near us in Mitte and this restaurant appeared on TripAdvisor with very good reviews. Thankfully I took the advice from previous contributors and rang ahead to reserve. When we got...there, we found there was only two tables available and there was a steady stream of business all night so this suggested that it was going to be a good experience and it was. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown to our table. While the menu was not vast, it had more than enough options. Our starters of goat cheese and Misto Antipasto were superb, generous portions really well prepared and presented. We had sea bream for our mains and very generous portions and beautifully cooked. Wine list was good. The waitress was very attentive and checked in to see how our meal was going. We finished with tea/coffee and Amaretto (on the house). Definitely one of the best Italian meals I have had in a long time and our best dining experience in Berlin. Good value as well. Highly recommend but be advised ring ahead and book a table."

"I visited with my family and we had both pizza and different pasta dishes. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the waiters were friendly and responsive. All our dishes were well made and tasted good, although my daughter found the arrabiata sauce to be a bit too spicy."

"This is a busy place serving Italian food with a great choice of pasta dishes and pizzas. When it came to the dessert, my wife and daughter couldn't decide what to have so the waiter offered the "special sharing dessert".... What a rip off!!! The price of this dessert alone accounted for nearly 50% of our total bill and what was presented on a square plate drizzled with coulis looked as though it could have easily been left over from someone else's dessert choice. Basically it comprised: one piece of tiramisu (not sure if it was a full sized 'normal' dessert but was supposed to be for three), a slice of kiwi fruit each, a pannacotta cut into three portions (again not sure if it was full sized to begin with), and some small cubes of ice cream (2-each) about the size of a thumb in length. The price of this delight (!) was a mere 10,50€ a head. As I said,, a big rip offAlso, as soon as you ask for water, you get presented with an expensive bottle of fizzy water - tap water doesn't seem to exist in German restaurants.Value for money is okay IF you avoid the 'special sharing dessert' that isn't listed on the menu."

"We were looking for somewhere to eat near our hotel and came across Trattoria Salute in Arcadia Plaza. The staff were very welcoming and once they realised we were English they gave us a menu in English. We had such a nice meal, pasta with seafood, bolognaise, garlic prawns, all hot, fresh and yummy. Lovely bottle of Chianti and half bottle of white. Ice cream for dessert and one of the best Zabaglione I've had for a while. Came to around 90 Euros and we felt was good value for money. You can tell when the food is really good, I'd eaten it before I remembered to take any photos!"
