"They really made you feel so welcome and the alley in which it was located was quaint and charming. Loved the experience the food was good… not great. I would however recommend the salad with tomatoes and sicilian mozzarella. It was delicious!"

"I went to Apero Bistrot last night. It is situated in the old town area of Aix en Provence, about 30 min outside of Marseille.The area, where it is located is very nice. Aix is a beautiful down, with many narrow streets and old buildings. The restaurant itself is very contemporary on the inside and is still pretty new.The owner greeted as at the door and was very outgoing to chat with us. He was a finalist at the french show "Masterchef".The food was excellent and in addition of the atmosphere inside the resto it was a perfect night with my spouse. To eat we had carpaccio for her and a some sort of shredded pork on top of a toasted piece of bread with fois gras. Both appetizers were very delicious. For the entree we had rabbit with potatoes for her and venison with home made gnocchi for me. The meats were tender and juice and perfectly seasoned. For dessert she had a chocolate and banana extravaganza with (i think) also a little bit of rum which she loved and I had a rum cake with vanilla cream in the center, accompanied by a small shot of rum on the side. If you love a hearty meal this definitely hits the spot.I will definitely be back soon."
