"Unfortunately the last several times I have ordered from Koi it has been sub par. The gyoza and sushi rolls are always nice but the tofu vegetable Don had what looked like a frozen veg mix with carrot, peas and corn, with one piece of broccoli and 2 snow peas and a lot of tiny cubes of soft, not fried tofu and sauce all over (about a kilogram) of rice. I have tried to like it lately but haven't. The price was about $10 more than the recent menu was also, which was disappointing since the food is lacking. The guy at the register is lovely. A previous order was incorrect. I know they get busy on the weekend but I had specifically asked for a meal without onion for a friend and it was just loaded with it, so after getting take-away and taking it to her house (in St Kilda), it was too far to go back and tell them."
