"I just came back from living in Asia for a year so I've been craving soup dumplings Xiao long bao) and just walked by here by chance. Soup dumplings were really good! I wasn't sure what to expect but I would def recommend those. The...beef roll was also sooo good. I'll for sure go back for both those dishes. We also had the hot chilli wontons and spring rolls which were pretty meh. Wouldn't recommend either of those dishes. They didn't give us tea though. :"

"The re modelled place looks fresh, new, but still has a familiar feel to the place. We haven't been here for a couple of years only because we make decent pasta at home. The menu has expanded and features brick oven menu. The meals we ordered were very good, the wine was not priced over the moon...two of us with a beer and wine, dinners were happy with a $52 bill. The owner is involved and sincere in making this place just right...yes we will go again!"

"Really good food, mediocre service, bad quality control. I tend to go here a lot just for their deep fried spicy chicken and potatoes. If you're expecting western Chinese food this isn't it. This place is delicious but the flavours can be too adventurous for most western living folk. <br/ <br/ Give it a try."

"I love Jimocos. People think I am sponsored by them or something (I am not but hey I would love to be @Jimocos . I am constantly craving Jimocos, and this is the to go spot whether it is a simple date night with my boyfriend, or I have someone visiting in town and want to impress them with delicious food. This restaurant serves pasta and pizza which are a part of the Italian cuisine but it is made by Koreans. The fusion this place has really what makes it best. Also, it on the cheaper side of restaurants and you really get what you pay for. My favourite is the linguine de soul. My brother's is the seafood risotto with cream sauce and my boyfriend's is the chicken parm with risotto. Honestly the best restaurant in Coquitlam. You have to check it out (or not to keep the waits shorter! Avoid weekends at dinner times because the wait is around 1 hour to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Also service is great!"

"We came here earlier to LOVE when we were in Coquitlam, but our first visit after their renovations in the summer we learned that they don't make Dim Sum anymore... They sat and checked what you wanted and it came to... Your table and there were tons of choices... they now have only a tiny section on their main menu called Starters and Dim Sum. Utterly disappointed and will not be returned after this visit."

"We discovered this little Korean sit-in/take-out snack place during a recent morning walk in Hanin Village. Sol 's was open, we got in and decided it would be perfect for a breakfast snack. We were right, and I'm sure we decided to go and try some of their food. It's a small place, with four small tables, most expulsions, I guess, and opens at 10 o'clock. The cook was busy preparing a take-out order when we arrived at 10:30 and became their first sit-down customers. We've shared orders from fishcake soup and steamed dumplings. The soup was a good bowl of value, with several different types of fish cake, in a mild and tasteful, light stick. The dumplings (10 of them) large and well filled with a mixture of minced meat and vegetables. Both dishes were freshly prepared and delicious and served cake hot on our table. Our kind of breakfast, and it sure hit-the-spot. We liked Sol's little house!!"

"We (two seniors and daughter) have dined at the still rather 'new' Sushi & three times now, and really have nothing but good things to say about our dining experiences there. Our dining so far, has been for lunch (late-January and early- and late-March), and for each visit, we have arrived just before the restaurant opened for the day at 11:30am. First, a heads-up re: the parking there. The lot at this plaza is rather small and gets very busy, so finding a parking spot can be tough at times. In addition, some of the parking spots are labelled - "30 minutes only" - but these can be used when dining at Sushi &, if you acquire a 'parking pass' from the restaurant to display in your vehicle. The other parking spots are not limited to that very short time, and should the lot be full, there is additional parking up on the roof. We found parking tight during our first visit, a Friday morning, plentiful for our second visit, a Sunday morning, and busy once again for our third visit, a Saturday. The restaurant has always opened right on-the-mark, and for each visit, we have been the first customers to enter, but not long after, were joined by other diners, and/or customers ordering, or picking up take-out orders. We have found the restaurant very clean, 'open' in layout, and bright. There are tables (for 2-4 diners per each) arranged around the perimeter of the restaurant, and rows of tables throughout the middle of the restaurant - the latter arrangement allowing service for four or more diners at one table, or the putting together of tables, for service to accommodate more diners, as need be. A good arrangement we thought, for rather efficient use of the space they have.Upon entering each time, we received a welcome greeting from the staff (servers and cooks), and were shown to a table. Service was prompt, courteous, and friendly. Cups of tea were brought with the menus, and then a large pot of tea was brought to our table, when the server returned to take our order. The food we've ordered and tried so far:-- lunch vegetable bento box ($8.50) - salad, veggie or avocado roll (the avocado was selected), a daily special (a sliced orange), tofu teryaki, and a selection of tempura.-- party tray 'C' ($35.95) - several rolls (California, dynamite, chopped scallop, red, and orange mango), and sushi (three pieces per each of tuna, salmon, chopped scallop, and masago).-- appetizers - pork gyoza (8-pieces, $3.75), ika karaage (squid) (6-pieces, $3.95), takoyaki (octopus balls) (6-pieces, $3.95), chicken karaage (6-pieces, $3.95), and tempura (4-pieces, $4.25).-- tempura - assorted tempura (prawns & veggies) (8-pieces, $7.95).-- maki (rolls) - mango rolls (cucumber, mango, crabmeat/ebi, mango on top) (8-pieces, $5.95), kuromaki rolls (cucumber, avocado, crabmeat, prawn tempura, yam tempura) (6-pieces, $4.95).-- sashimi - assorted sashimi (18-pieces, $16.95).-- sushi combo - sashimi sushi combo (tuna and salmon sashimi, salmon, tuna, ebi, chopped scallop, and masago sushi (9-pieces, $9.25). We have been solidly-impressed with our dining experiences at Sushi &. The environment (ambience, layout, music level, and etc.) has been perfectly fine. The service attentive (but not overdone), friendly, and courteous. And the food - why we went there in the first place, and why we have returned!! good variety and selection, fresh, well-prepared and presented, with good-sized portions (whether appetizers or full-sized dishes). If summarized in one word -- it's been "yum"!! And with the reasonable pricing, we think this restaurant represents very good value. We have eaten well during these visits, and totally-enjoyed our dining experiences. We're "hooked", Sushi & will definitely be seeing us again!"

"Came for lunch. Received our ban chan, which only consisted of 3 dishes, less than the typical 4-5 in other establishments. Mul man doo was tasty, they were fat little pork filled dumplings. Spicy squid, very rubbery seafood in a dish that was spicy but...without any umami or fullness in spice, only a one note flavour. The fried chicken as their specialty, is a HUGE dish (took home half), though again not a lot of flavour in the sauce other than sweetness. The bulgogi was ok, but strangely served with mixed salad greens on top. Service spotty, attentive to get your order in, but not present to get additional items or package up the leftovers. Prices ok."
