"Lunch here today with my daughter. I told her about the glory days of Roma in the eighties, when it was the way to stand for a hearty plate of pasta. I'm glad to see it again. We have selected both fish fruit options. Mie was the Marinara and her the mixed seafood plate. As usual, we first called ourselves !! The calamari and scallops on her plate (that I was) incredibly tender and delicious. My spaghetti Marinara was also very good with plenty of seafood in it. My only regret is that I did not ask for Chili (according to the menu)."

"Hidden off the beaten tracks of the Cappo strip is this authentic Italian café with all the charm and flavour. I went for brekkie on a wintery rainy day and was the first in. Service was warm and friendly. I ordered the omelet filled with sausage and mushrooms with homemade bread, and a long Mac topped up. I sat next to the wonderful tiles on which customers had left messages for the café; wonderful touch. The food and coffee came out together. Coffee was excellent, and the omelet was very good too. And for the record, they still have the $5 muffin and coffee special which is a wonderful deal for Freo. I will have to come back and try this along with their famous pastas."

"An old favourite, but I'd not been in a while, so popped in for lunch with a friend. Somehow, it was all rather ordinary. They weren't overly busy, but service was a bit slap-dash and slower than necessary. Our pizza was surprisingly expensive and (in my view at least) overcooked on top and frankly pretty tasteless. Nothing was poor enough to complain, but it seems to have lost its edge. I've been here lots of times, but it seems to have gone down hill a bit, which is a shame. The strip is a pretty competitive environment; I'll probably try somewhere different next time."

"A new little gem for Fremantle! This cafe aligns with the 'industrial chic' standard of interior Fremantle sets, but also offers a sophisticated and refreshing setting. The menu whilst is priced reasonably, offers a wide range of tasty breakfast and lunch items, including a fridge full of scrumptious on the go/ready made treats. Impressed by their large tables perfect for a group setting (much needed in Perth) but was surprised to see them as I first walked in. Staff reasonably friendly and takeaway coffee quick and easy - will definitely be back!! xoxo partyspoon"

"Me and my partner went here before seeing a movie at Luna on SX. Convenient location if you're thinking of doing the same. However, it was a very average meal. We were expecting great things and we were disappointed. In saying that, it wasn't BAD."
