"The food was absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. The charcuterie was to die for, I got the lamb shank, and my husband got the wagyu sirloin. The lamb fell off the bone and the mushrooms on the plate were the best bite of it all. The wagyu was tender and the potatoes were amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Not only that, our waitress, Grace, was fabulous! She was knowledgeable, friendly, sweet, and efficient. Everything was brought to us as fast as possible. She really brought her A-game. Last night was a wonderful date night for my husband and I. I highly recommend the Boiler Room!"

"Our table of 6 was ignored at 5:30, not busy at that time, but finally did come to us, then the service was better. The food is very good always.....the prices are getting too high."

"Walk up and Savor the Flavors. This taco truck offers great Mexican food at prices anyone can afford. I sampled a chicken taco and albondigas pork torta. The taco was great, served atop two small soft corn tortillas. The torta came with an advisory that it was spicy. It was flavorful, but not too spicy at all for me. It could best be described as a huge soft bread sandwich filled with seasoned pork, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and sauce. It was a delicious gooey mess. Besides tortas and tacos, burritos and various other familiar Mexican menu items are offered. Over a half dozen meat filling choices are offered, plus chips and various sodas and bottles of water. Service was...read more"

"I can't believe this place is still in business. The staff was rude and the food was worse than mediocre, but beyond that, the experience we had was ridiculous.<br> <br> If the menu says a dish is served in a "bird's nest" of fried noodles, that's a feature of the dish, right? You don't bring me the topping and some steamed rice. When I ask why the fried noodles aren't part of the dish, you CERTAINLY don't get aggressive with me and tell me that it's okay because it's "the same inside."<br> <br> Fine, whatever. That should have been the end of it. I agreed to eat the stupid "same insides" over steamed rice.<br> <br> But then, when we tried to pay, they couldn't take any cards. I fortunately happened to have two $20 bills, but then THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY CHANGE. They even suggested that I leave and go to an ATM (what's that supposed to do? ATMs dispense twenties!) Faced with the reality that I was going to walk out if they couldn't take the payment I had offered them twice in good faith, they scrambled to check all of their pockets and assemble several dollars in coins.<br> <br> The time to tell me about the inability to take cards was before we were ready to order. The time to tell us that the dish is no longer served with fried noodles was when I ordered it. The time for this sorry excuse for a restaurant to close its doors was yesterday."

"Don't judge a book by its cover. I resisted going here for the longest time; as others have said, the exterior is unassuming, and gives the impression that inside you'll find generic, crappy bar food. Nothing could be further from the truth. Their food is amazing. My current favorites are the italian grilled cheese sandwich (that tomato marmalade and the seared gnocchi. They also make great cocktails I like the caramel apple martini. It looks, smells, and tastes like those caramel apple suckers from my youth. Yummy, but still decently strong. Service has always been good, and the owner is frequently around, lending a hand to the staff or inquiring about your experience (never overly...read more"

"We love Spezia and it has always been our go to for anniversary and birthday dinners. Last night though the food failed to impress. It’s not that the food was bad, it just wasn’t nearly as good as we have come to expect, especially for the price. The crab dip appetizer looked fantastic when it came out, but once we started eating it, it just tasted like something you would get at a grocery store and warm up. The squash in the squash risotto was undercooked, whether that was on purpose or not I don’t know, but it made for a difficult time enjoying the dish, the rest of the risotto was just ok. The other main course dish we had was the gnocchi, it was very tasty and had an air of what we used to feel when eating at Spezia. I want to make it absolutely clear, the food was not bad, it just wasn’t as good as we have come to expect for the name Spezia and the price you pay. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and polite, he was enjoyable and seemed to be very busy but still was able to make it around and check on us enough. We will definitely be going to Spezia again."
