"We had a big table for my brothers birthday and I must say we where not dissapointed. One advantage of the big table was that we could taste a lot more. The Menu is not big but damn it is good. I started with the Chef's choice filled Pasta, but tasted everything else and honestly you cannot go wrong. For the main course I tried the Moskou's meal of the day which was Gnocchi.....I am not a Foodie but oooo my goodness the Gnocchi is about as close as I have come to discovering the meaning of life. Desert was a very nice Pear Tart and again it was faultless. Along with the great food, we received great service and they played really good music. It is a pricey experience but, it is delicious. The only dissapointment was the lighting for my pictures."

"Staying at the Lanzerac means not much can persuade you to leave the room. The restaurant, however, did. Fine dining at its best a range of options to include vegetarian, pescatarian and meaty dishes, all beautifully presented. "Gorgeous restaurant space in a historic mansion. Food is very good, and the service is exceptional. Wine pairing recommendations were spot on. Noticed the crowd here is generally a bit older. Also the most expensive meals we had during our stay in Western Cape."
