"While visiting historic Cocoa village for the first time the boss and I decided to stop and grab lunch at Pub Americana. This great little pub offered a nice variety of beers, wine and cocktails. I tried the locally brewed 3 daughters key lime cider and it was absolutely amazing. Everything you want in a beer cider and more. For an appetizer we had a Caprese Salad which was perfect for a warm afternoon helping to keep us feeling cool and refreshed. For my main entrée I had the Blackened Chicken sandwich with fries. It took a bit to get our food but the wait was worth it. The food was fresh and delicious. My chicken was blackened perfectly on the outside, and soft, tender and moist on the inside. The hoagie was crisp and soft and really added to the sandwich. The chicken was covered with peppers, onions, jalapeños, Monterey Jack cheese and topped with fire roasted red pepper airlines dressing. It was um um good. The hostess and server were very nice, friendly and responsive. A great stop if looking for a relaxing lunch in Historic Cocoa village."
