"Disappointing. An impressive building and a lovely room but the service really let down our dining experience. First we waited a long time between ordering and receiving drinks. Food came out about 30 mins after ordering but we then waited another 45 mins before mains arrived. In this time no-one returned to collect plates or take further drink orders. We then waited another 30 minutes before giving up on getting coffee or dessert and had to walk to the bar to ask for our bill. Staff didn’t seem over-busy but just inexperienced and were also a bit surly. Food was decent but not anywhere near spectacular enough to make up for the service…"

"One of the best burgers I've EVER had. Was guided to our seats with polite staff. Given ample time to browse the menu. When we gave our order, it arrived in around 5 or 6 mins and that was during busy lunchtime. Food was immense. We had the Brisket burger and the Carnivore burger, with Cajun fries and garlic fries too. Beverages were a pint of Guinness and a coke. A range of cocktails were available too, but we didn't have time to sample them. Honestly the burger was so good. Just the right amount of bun for the filling and what a filling it was! Bacon, Pulled pork, BBQ sauce, onion ring and the fries came with coleslaw too. If you want to try somewhere for a cracking lunch, Belfast City Picnic is the place to go. Prices Our meal and drinks cost around £30, on the menu. Attentive staff too, without being in your space, allowed us to enjoy your meal and made sure to clear up when we were finished. I'll be taking another visit to City Picnic very soon. Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Cost 4.5/5 Staff 5/5 Just try it for yourself and see for yourself! Superb!"

"This place is so wonderful! Lovely modern decor and a casual atmosphere- when I went it was packed but service was good! I had their vegan cheese pizza and packed as many toppings as I could onto it and it was to die for! The cheese was perfect and the pizza was so filling, which I was gutted about but only because I wanted to order their vegan brownie freakshake too- guess that just means I'll have to go back!"
