"I ordered a samosa chaat for takeout from here. To my disappointment, it didn't have any samosa in it, just chickpeas. I requested it to be made spicy, but they added uncooked green chilies. The quality was not great, and it seemed like stale food. I wish I could give them less than 1-star rating."

"Quaint, family owned business on south st, where the owner is eager to accommodate vegan diets! The owner personally came out to answer any questions about ingredients. Most menu items are already vegan but not labeled. Also, it’s right by Queen and Rook game cafe, so after dinner you can go play some board games."

"If you looking for a great Indian restaurant, Taste of Punjab is the spot in Philly.While me and my party were passing thru on way back home to NYC, the dinner experience was amazing.The mixed appetizers along with samosas were amazing.The Tandoori mixed grill was splendid. The garlic naan was amazing.The rice was very flavorful.Jasmine was the waitress and her dad did all the cooking.They were amazing like the food."

"Great Indian food. Ordered chicken tikki masala and lamb vindaloo. The flavors were great, spicy and good portions. Not a big fan of the Gyro though. Will order again. Updated review (May 2022) Wow, their portions got smaller while prices went up. Do one or the other, not both. I want to dock a star for this but the food is still good. 3 entrees for $50+"

"The first time here with hubby. I heard they had a live-jazz, so we wanted to check it. we love our live music and since covid arrived, live shows have not become existent. service was good, it was a nice small amount outside with socially distant table setup, and although it was a cool breezy night, everything was great. I had an excellent dish land chicken soup, shrimp with creamy marsala sauce over rice, which was fantastic and my nabeby had stewede goats with rice he enjoyed. very enjoyable evening and the music sets the right tone."
