"Looking for a place in Pleasanton that was vegetarian friendly. This place popped up in my Google search. No problem making reservations only a few days in advance. Promptly seated upon arrival. Good beer/wine selection and inventive tasty cocktails. We ordered the baba gaanoush appetizer and their specialty pumpkin bolani. The baba ghanoush was the best I have ever had. the pumpkin bolani was delicious as well. For a main course I had the shrimp skewer and ordered the serrano vinaigrette. The waitress warned me that it was spicy. It had a good heat to it as I love spicy food. We will definitely be returning. My companions were equally pleased with their entrees."

"Highly recommend. This venue was my introduction to dining in Birmingham and it did not disappoint. No one from my party ordered anything too complicated, burgers, fish, and fries, and it was all good, not great at reasonable prices. Service was superb and the atmosphere was easygoing but classy. I wasn't the biggest fan of the spacing between tables, but that's a minor detail. The craft selection was not robust but had some interesting and delightful offerings. This is a great place to dine.Parking: Parking was not exactly restrictive but the way it is designed is a little of a hassle. It's all street parking and if you're driving on the opposite side of the street there are no turnabouts."

"Loved this place!! Had the eggs benny which comes with the home potatoes. Nothing on the plate was amiss, the eggs were perfect, the English muffin was fresh, and the hollandaise was light and perfectly tied it all together. The potatoes were probably the best I've ever had with my breakfast; so crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside."

"We were there after an afternoon show at ppac and to celebrate my man's birthday. eating was delicious, great presentation of eating, wonderful server, nod. beautiful personality, very know about menu and eat. at dessert came the plate with happy birthday written on it beautiful touch to finish our evening."

"The food was tasty. The waiter was a little less than average as far as skill set. I didn't care for how they ran out of bread. It was very noisy in the section that we were sat in. But all in all it was not a bad experience just didn't knock my socks off."

"I was unfortunately very disappointed with the service I received from this bakery as well as the wedding cake we ordered. We requested a 3 tier cake with piped roses. The piping on the cake we received looked unprofessional and was frankly ugly. The frosting on the cake we ordered was cream cheese, and we received what appeared like and tasted like marshmallow fluff. This wasn't exactly complementary with our red velvet cake flavor. Finally, we were very excited to box the top tier of our wedding cake. Cynthia assured me she would be providing boxes that fit the cake tiers. The boxes she provided did not fit the cake and it was cut into many smaller pieces to be packed up. The top tier was wrapped in plastic wrap as we couldn't use the provided box. My communications with Cynthia and her team were unpleasant aside from our very first tasting with her. Her team was rarely able to answer my questions and Cynthia was very short with me when I asked questions leading up to our wedding date. She made me feel like the questions and concerns I had were stupid when in reality everything that I was worried about going wrong with this cake went wrong."
