"My friend and I enjoyed our dinner. However, it was abandoned by some small things that would have changed the experience. First, my Parmigana starter was cold served, couldn't believe it was me.in Italy, but maybe it was a local thing? The waiter seemed to understand English until I asked him if it should be cold. He said halfheartedly. I asked the Italians next to our table whether this is correct and they said it should not. The mussels and mussels were good. The nets were good without being spectacular. They were not with everything they were too cold and without veg, as indicated on the menu. Here too, English was suddenly lost on the waiter. MY-Fang the day-sea food plate was largely overcooked and seasoned, but had a good number of fish. It even had salmon on what was a surprise, as it could not have been a fresh salmon within a few thousand miles. The staff seemed more interested in pumping the food and not offering any help, but that might have been just an Italian thing. A total of 6 to 6.5 is a fair assessment for a moderate meal that would have been so much better with a bit more care."

"Unfortunately, I didn’t like it, the prices don’t correspond to the small portions, the pasta is cold with sardines, or rather, probably half a sardine, or rather guess what it was in this dish, the fries had no salt at all, pizza, well, I would call it a thin crust with filling, alas ,disappointment. "Maybe it was a bad day but this felt like a tourist trap. The venue is nice but the food was disappointing. The meatballs were really boring unfortunately. No atmosphere. "AVOID. This is an awful place, the worst latte/coffee in Taormina in my experience. They don't even use fresh milk, croissants not fresh either. This left me feel so sickly and nauseated. Have been here for 3 weeks and this was by far the worst coffee. They also charge double at 5 euros Vs 2.50 in the side streets and a few meters down) for the latte machiatto. I ended up walking and then going to Excelsior Hotel for another latte to get the awful long life milk taste out of my mouth and paid the same price, but got much better service, better latte with real milk and lovely biscuits too. Great lattes/coffee can be found in the five star hotels, Osterica just a few metres down, a place right across Bam Bam Bar and also Cafe Zerrafno (I think it is called). I think the 5 star reviews are mainly from American tourists whoms palate/life experiences/ idea of quality differs to those from Europe/Asia/Middle East.
