"Slowest Service Ever. Went here with my whole family after my neices's ballet recital, took bout 30-40 mins just to get tortillas and drinks out to us. There was only two other tables in the whole section that she was working in. No wonder this place has a low rating. Not surprised at all."

"The place is small, clean, nice atmosphere and service is friendly and attentive. It's a Mexican place and everything in the restaurant ties nicely into that theme. Prices are a little on the high side, but the dishes and presentation are above average. Only place in this strip mall that's actually busy, so that's telling."

"There are so many Mexican restaurants in Costa Mesa, but this place is in my Top 5. The salsa and guacamole are always fresh! I come here for the moles that are the perfect sauce to go to chicken. Spacious portions and great service."

"I love it and review Mexican food. Maria's is the absolute best place I've eaten in DFW since I was here in 2017. This place reminds me of my childhood. The food has a hispanic house cooked meal taste. It reminds me that my father makes meals. The smell of the kitchen also meets home. The Carne Asada Taco is the best steak taco I've eaten. It's a must. My wife got pastor Taco and later had to take more home. That never happens. I definitely recommend steak and pork tacos. We also have the California Style Pommes. Interestingly, these fries also reminded me of the food I grew up on. I was shocked how much I remembered at home. Beans were below average. Rice was average. I can't knock her in it. Horchata was great. I recently ate another place that had bad horchata. That was good. Customer service was exceptional. I absolutely enjoyed the whole experience. I was pleasantly surprised that I found a new #1 Mexican restaurant in the DFW area. I'll give Maria's Mexican restaurant 8.8 out of 10. This place is absolutely phenomenal. You won't regret coming here."

"1st time at this place. welcomed immediately when we went into the door. our waitress, daisy, was amazing! did not have to write our order on a ticket book. everything right. we were on our drinks, chips and salsa and everything else. the culinary experience is a success! keep the good work daisy!"
