"Shout out to the staff at Royal Stacks. Always great every time I visit, but even more so today.<br br/>Long story short, I was waiting for about mins and thought nothing of it. Then someone from the kitchen came up to me to check if I was waiting on food because nothing had come through. They apologised profusely and started cooking my order. I told them it was no problem at all, I was in no rush to be anywhere. It came out minutes later and they’d upsized by sides and gave me a free large drink!<br br/>I’ve waited longer for food at other places, but the guys here really care about their customers and made sure I was extra satisfied today! Thanks guy "

"We were there early, only 2 other tables. Started off good, but then we ordered our 2nd coffee, breakfast arrived..... definitely smaller portions then when we visited a year ago, bacon was burnt, but otherwise dish was ok, still waiting for coffee..... barista was busy chatting to female customers, we finished breakfast, no one took the plates, 35 mins after ordering 2nd coffee, still no coffee, we finally got someone's attention, they immediately got the coffee , which was cold, and didn't take the feedback we gave them and still charged full price. Won't be back in a hurry ."

"I have been to Vietnam and have come to love Pho. While the Pho is a little different from Vietnam it is very tasty and the beef is much better - must be the Aussie beef!!The staff are extremely friendly and are ready to advise anyone looking for guidance on combinations, spices etc.To be honest I have not tried the other food except the spring rolls which are delicious but are served as a meal rather than as a side order (which is a bit of a shame).Located in the Mandarin Centre at the top of the escalators. It is part of the food court seating but overall this centre has a great atmosphere anyway for families or singles alike."

"I don't usually have experience as bad as this one, but I really don't have anything good to say about this place. The main I ordered was pappa wat tan hor, a typical Malaysian dish, which this Malay restaurant failed to deliver on, watery noodles and terrible sauce. We ordered the bean curd skin roll as a dim sim to share, what can I say , purely disgusting , even my tolerant friend refused to eat them. Anyway, way worse than the Mamak at Chatswood station , don't waste your time and money there."

"This place really gives you a taste of the Philippines. If you've never tried filipino food this place is a must. The restaurant is located literally on the corner of Railway st and Help st in Chatswood. Side street parking is a little hard to find when its busy, but its on a quiet side of the main road. As for the food we had, Lumpia Shanghi (Small meaty fried spring rolls), BBQ pork skewers, Kare-Kare (Filipino style beef peanutty curry), Crispy Pata (deep fried pork with crispy crackling), Sinigang ni Hipon (Hot, sweet and sour type soup with prawns) and then for dessert Halo-Halo (Mixed sweets with ice cream and crushed ice), Leche Flan (filipino style creme caramel)The mains take a bit longer than usual but the servings are large. One serving of the soup and the crispy pork can easily feed 3-4 people if ordered with rice.They do banquet style eating as well so its great for a large group. I wouldn't call the food fine dining but it is tasty and filling. There are some more foods to eat but couldn't fit it all, so we did take away and ate it at home.Its a place to check out and give it a go. "I first had coffee here a few days ago with my girlfriend, that day the coffee took forever, and the place wasn't even busy. The coffee turned out decent in after the long wait. We decided to give the place another shot today, it was a bit more busy, we ordered two drinks and was upset by the fact that the barista was serving people who ordered after us. My girlfriend who ordered the drinks went close to the counter to follow up our order and reminded the barista (same guy, asian with glasses) that we ordered 2 large drinks. He was explaining that he punched in 1 large drink and one small drink. I went up to the counter and said she ordered 2 large coffees but this guy rather than...read more"
