"Our innkeeper recommended Donde Laurita for Colombian food, and it seemed popular with the locals eating there, but it turned out to be a poor choice for us. We both ordered trout, for which the town is famous. Had we ordered the grilled trout with...no seasoning, this review might be different. Instead, we went with more typical preparations, which turn out to be heavy cream sauces (one with almonds, the other with mushrooms) that stifled the flavor of the fish and were not themselves tasty or tasty-looking. A small typical salad was served before the fish, but no vegetables were available even as a side dish. The setting is filled with vintage devices (sewing machines, vinyls, cameras) that give the restaurant charm, and the service was friendly and solicitous. However, we ended up not liking the fish enough to finish our servings and leaving a little hungry. We decided there were better places in town to try the trucha"

"Last year we traveled to the Coffee Region of Colombia. One of the beautiful towns we visited was Salento.We arrived at lunch time, ready to enjoy some typical Colombian cuisine. While parking the car, we stumbled upon a curiosity - an Israeli flag flying above a restaurant.It turns out that the owner/chef is a Colombian lady who lived for many years in Israel and was offering a mix of Israeli delicacies with a Colombian flair.Very fresh, delicious and reasonably priced food, with personal attention from the staff. Family owned and highly recommended"

"Restaurant looks small form the outside and has a nice patio. The Pizza and Pasta was really good as was the service. The time between the different courses was short and the food was prepared by a Italian cook. Really nice evening."

"Hemos visitado este restaurante en varios ocasiones para el desayuno. Se puede disfrutar de calentao, chicharrón, chorizo, arepa, chocolate, huevo al gusto, etc. La porción de queso es muy grande. El restaurante se encuentra justo al lado de un pequeño arroyo que desemboca en el río Quindío. Es un lugar muy agradable."
