"Great place for brunch. Awesome food and great service. We had the salmon benny, mushroom benny, classic two egg breakfast, baked eggs, and salted duck york french toast. All these turned out really great and we absolutely loved the salted duck yoke french toast. Probably the best item we had. The french toast was the perfect mix of salt and sweet. The inside gives a vibe of being outside too. Just the right level of brightness. Even tho it was gloomy and rainy outside, it almost felt like a sunny day. Kinda cool."

"It was a beautiful sunny Saturday in Vancouver and we went on a long drive of about 80 Kms. for the picnic to pristine Alouette Lake. On our way back at around 8.00 PM, we had decided to try our luck for dinner at the downtown and our daughter suggested Great Wall Mongolian BBQ based on her earlier experience. The eatery promoting ‘All you can eat’ lunch or dinner at a fixed price was quite popular. We were lucky to get a parking slot behind the restaurant and as we had entered through the rear door, we discovered a good number of diners queuing up for their turn of service.The eatery lets one act as a chef, well almost! One can choose the ingredients, their proportions, and different sauces to decide on pungency, sour or sweetness of what one eats finally. Four of us queued up with large bowls in hand... the first counter had three different types of noodles and the next one had four choices for meat: chicken, lamb, beef and pork. The meats were served in boneless shavings, for their ease of cooking maybe. This was followed by an array of vegetables: bell peppers, capsicum, spring onions, carrots, lettuce, celery, bok choy (Chinese cabbage), sprouts, snow peas, mushrooms... about 15 different varieties! The next counter had an interesting set of twelve sauces with a detailed guide displaying their varying degrees of pungency, sour or sweetness. We had carried the combination of meats, veg and sauces and handed them to two cooks, who sautéed the ingredients with some water on a large wok for just about five minutes and our food was ready! The restaurant also serves complimentary soup and boiled rice/bread. The food prepared with such fresh vegetables tasted really good with an aroma imparted by the sauces. The quantity based on one’s choice would always be filling and the price point (CAD13.95 per person) wouldn’t burn a hole in one’s pocket."

"I have come to this ramen place many times for lunch. I have tried both the shio, and the shoyu and found both to be very tasty and full of flavour. They do lack some of the toppings other places might have such as egg and corn but they do offer them for an extra .60 or so. Otherwise for approx 9.25 it’s a great meal. It isn’t a very large place, so during lunch time it can get very busy. If you have more than 4 people it can be a bit of a wait for a table. It’s ideal for solo or couples as they have a large horseshoe table that eliminates tables only being half filled. Service is very fast and efficient and they give u a card so after 10 meals you can have a bowl free!"
