"I have always seen people posting about this place on Instagram and I had to try it out. I was definitely not disappointed. We booked ahead of time for a table as sometime it is busy and we didn’t want to miss out. Service was impeccable. The atmosphere welcoming and warm. The decor of the place beautiful and lovely seating. I love they have this plastic tarps especially with the wind you might encounter which worked perfectly. "The throng of non cycling cyclists in Sea Point meant that the place I'd wanted to go to for breakfast wasn't just full there was a queue outside, so we strolled along Regent Rd and settled on Knead. At first glance at the menu, I wasn't particularly taken with the choices fairly standard breakfast options and nothing too exciting. But when the food arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised.<br/ <br/ My French Toast came with crispy bacon and a delicious tomato sauce and I'd be happy to have it again. The others had French Toast with Nutella which was also delicious, poached egg with bacon and roasted tomatoes (also good and a croissant with scrambled egg, cheese and tomato. <br/ <br/ The service was very good. Our waitress reassured the croissant eater that his off menu order was not a problem at all, and the full order arrived at almost exactly the same time despite Knead being very busy. The manager (owner? was also very much in evidence keeping a watchful eye to ensure everyone was happy"

"Entertainer led us to this lovely streetside cafe. The breakfast was delicious. We shared two dishes-the salmon Benedict with perfectly poached eggs and thick salmon on Bavarian brown toast with a delicious hollandaise sauce. The second dish was homemade fruit salad with Greek yogurt, honey and delicious crunchy,nutty granola. The freshly squeezed juice was lovely. It was an intimate setting with quality food and good service. They handled loadshedding so well!"

"I always enjoy the food (especially the breakfast) at Melissa's. The chicken pie is very good. And I love that you can order Melissa's from OrderIn. Perfect for a lazy weekend morning when you are craving a delicious breakfast in the comfort of your own home. Scrambled eggs and bacon on a croissant is my favourite!"
