"I enjoy Chop and the service is consistently very good and this outing was no exception. We sat in the room left of the door when you came in and I will avoid it until the future. It was cold with bad acoustics and lighting. It feels like holding people you don't really like. The mushroom and goat cheese appetizer is very good and the cocktails we ordered were very good. Order the pistachio cod that was a disappointment. It is not encrusted, but an unworn little piece of cod with a flop of tasteless pistachios pocket on top. The fish was cooked right at least. The beans and squash are not good. A plate of smooth squash and a few pieces of clear green beans. Very disappointing and I would recommend removing it from the menu. I would still go to this restaurant, but avoid the strange room and the cod and you will be okay."
