"Great food, good prices, friendly staff, pleasant environment, and the model trains running on elevated tracks are a nice touch. We had questions about ingredients (avoiding food allergies) and they were very helpful, ready to explain everything that went into the food. Waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The chicken-fried steak was probably the best I've had. We're stopping here again the next time we come through Canyon."

"12:30 on Sunday lab day weekend and they have NO bones in the chicken. We wait half an hour. Lunch. On a busy weekend. How do you not cook enough? Do you cook to order ALL chickens? Is the concept of fast food too complicated for this facility? When someone leads this circus, they must be taught how to prepare for the lunch break. The chicken E was peerless a few years ago, but it just went to hell."

"The food was okay, but I could have done a better ribeye at home, I go to a steakhouse for a steak that is wow. Service was lackluster. The manager was quite impersonal at for 5pm on a friday there was no atmosphere."

"Met friends from Amarillo on a Friday night. Both of our friends ordered the $23 steak special. We ordered hamburgers. After waiting 45 minutes for food, having to ask for refills twice, steaks were cold, hamburgers were raw and the fries were soggy. When we were given our check there was over $30 in variable charges. We were told it was due to the large table . There were 4 adults and 1 4 year old child. I get that prices are going up but this is ridiculous. We used to love coming here but needless to say we will not be back."
