"I normally avoid this location due to the customer service but decided to give it a try again to get a small ackee N salt fish with fried dumpling. When I went in I saw a customer leaving and smiling so I said ok the service appears to be better. I said good morning, she didn 't say greet me back. I continued to ask if she had ackee? The price? etc. I guess service depends on if they know you or maybe I asked too much questions but miss Lady was cold. Then she proceeded to scold me about the 10 dollar minimum for debit card. My total was 9.25. Listen, business is business. All needed to be said was 'just to let you know that there 's a $10 minimum, your total is 9.25, would you like to add a beef patty with that to bring it up to the minimum? ' Instead, it was attitude. In the entire transaction, there was not 1 'hello, good morning, what are you having?, thank you, Not 1 SMILE. Golden Krust will always get business because you sell the foods that Jamaicans know and love and there 's no denying that the food is good... But good customer service goes a long way."

"Probably the best restaurant in the neighborhood but they've got some challenges ahead of them. Billing themselves as a general store, it's not entirely obvious that they're a foodies dream at night.. especially from the outside. For awhile it wasn't entirely obvious they were open because of the tinted windows outside. That said, when you enter the space you'll find that it is a really well designed general store with meat counter on the left, coffee shop on the right and restaurant/cocktail bar in the back. There's even a chefs table in the back to watch the chefs at work. My only real gripe is the price point. I want to be fuller for the price. Or at least have a small plates options and more big plate options menu. I imagine they're still working the kinks out of the place but really, if you're looking for good coffee, cocktails, meat, cheese or foodie style dinner.. this place is legit."

"One of my top picks for malaysian food in queens. I come here all the time with my family. I’m from malaysia and I come here whenever i want some pretty authentic malaysian food. I usually get the chicken satay which is really good . I do not recommend getting the roti because it’s not handmade. I get chicken curry noodles and these noodles in the picture below. I don’t know what it’s called in english but it’s very good. The chicken over rice is always good too. Everything here is delicious. The prices are very reasonable too! Definitely recommend it."
