"There are very few restaurants I have visited which would score 5/5 on most counts and Mejwaani is certainly one of them.1: Food variety, authenticity and presentation 5/5. Pomphret Thali , Mutton curry , Veg Thali …everything is amazing tasty.2: service Staff is very friendly and quick on their feet. The food was served at amazing speed. 5/53: Ambience we were large group of 8. The owner was very kind to accommodate us to a corner table giving attention to our big family needs.Mejwaani offers a perfect Feast (as it’s name) and we thoroughly enjoyed. Sunil (Germany)"

"A wonderful New Jersey diner who is in business since 1952. The interior decor is nice which honors Thomas Edison. The breakfast was simply delicious. It had 3 eggs perfectly cook and these yolks had a very bright orange yellow, the thick bacon, smoked ham and sausage all tasted fresh and not salty. Plenty of home fries with sauteed onions and peppers. The 3 small pancakes were fully and light. Now the coffee was weak to my taste but, it was okay. Plenty of onsite parking. Easy access to Route 1 south."

"After about an year, visited again today for the christmas buffet. Sure good improvement. Good food. Nandu gravy with pepper was yummy. Keep it up, cook tasty using good masala. Not sure why they serve water in bottle. I know the cost of cooking good south indian food, should avoid doing that for 2 reasons. 1. cost 2. plastic. They should work to filter water is serve to tables."

"I went here for Sunday brunch buffet and was instantly taken back by how large the space was, it seems they open their banquet hall for this. And for good reason too, while there was no wait time the huge hall was brimming with people. And once I had tasted the food it was no surprise that this place was so popular. I have had real authentic south asian food from the region itself, and let me tell you, this is as authentic as authentic gets. There were at least a mind blowing 30+ selections of different dishes, and each one was better than the last to top it off the chef even got some very, very difficult to get right things like haleem and nihari spot on cementing Shezan's place as a culinary treasure trove in my mind, heart and stomach once and for all. For the icing on the cake the owner greeted me personally and inquired about my experience, very nice and friendly man. I could not recommend more making this a must do stop for anyone in the NY/NJ area, so worth it."

"Not worth it to spend money at this place. One of my friend order food yesterday and I had only a bite of each 3 dishes that ordered and left food as it is. Soup(burned) and veg dry Manchurian was over cooked. I must recommend chef please look some YouTube video about veg Manchurian dry (Indo-Chinese)."

"I went for a business lunch when it was relatively quiet for the buffet. but the items were good, especially the chicken 'lollipop ' and the lamb curry, along with the egg biriyani. it was better than i expected, and milder. didn 't find the real chettinad items like the kuzhi paniyaram etc but i suspect that 's on the menu, which we didn 't opt for, instead going for the buffet. service was quite good. don 't know how much it cost, as my host paid. but i was pleasantly surprised at this place tucked away in a nondescript strip mall."

"Good food and delicious sauce. Service was impeccable! After and event in the mall, my daughter wanted mozzarella sticks so I searched the area and found this gem. The people here are very warm, friendly and welcoming. They have been in business for over 50 years. I asked them to set up for 9 people and called ahead to order appetizers to be ready upon arrival and they did just that. We had mozzarella sticks, Cesar salad, fried calamari, my aunt ordered additional appetizers like zucchini fries, fried mushrooms and the sauce or gravy they call it was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. We then had 2 large pies plain cheese and the works. One person in our party arrived later and they heated her food. If we are in the area, we would go back! I forgot to take photos of food. It was a nice night out! Thanks Menlo Pizzeria!!"

"Love their spicy biriyanis. Chicken fry biryani was average today.. . My friends just love the mutton biriyani... quantity of chicken fry was so less .. taste was average .. Space in the restaurant is not really adequate .. hence we always take it home and eAt it fresh Apart from biriyani, friends tried some chilly/pepper chicken varieties and it tasted average. Veggie curries were good.. overall a great restaurant for biriyanis.. a lil pricey though .."
