"If you want truly good home cooked food at reasonable prices and enjoy mom and pop local restaurants this is the place to go in Elizabethton Tennessee. Portion sizes were more than adequate and service is friendly and very helpful. My only negative, and I know this is strictly a matter of taste, was that the breading on the catfish was a bit too salty. Having been in the food service industry for 11 years I am aware that this frequently happens when the cook who prepared the dish is a smoker. Smoking inhibits the taste buds and frequently results in over seasoning. All in all this small seasoning issue does not detract from the fact that the food served in this establishment is Top Notch for the cost. They have daily specials that should not be ignored. The new owners will be taking over shortly and perhaps will address this minor issue."

"Came here after a night or trick or treating. Service was awesome, food was great, store was extremely clean, and prices were reasonable. I highly recommended eating here, of course the Blizzards are the bomb, But they have excellent food as well!!!"

"We enjoyed lunch in this local restaurant....only by car and a chance. The hamburgers were very pleasant with a nice smokey taste, fixed with perfection. Very clean diner style seating."

"The staff here is excellent!! They go beyond and beyond to meet the needs of all customers... even the small 1 years old! I ordered cookies and Gravy for my baby. The cook, not only fresh engraving, but cut the cookie into tiny little baby bites! That was a great help! And very appreciated!"

"After the Johnson city will not make potpies after 3pm I will no longer go the one across from mall on Roan St. I will drive the extra 5 miles to Elizabethton they didn't have any potpies at 8 pm and the girl said if you can wait like 12 min I'll make ya 4fresh ones, the one in jc don't care if they sell them or not and there very very rude. They need to go train in Elizabethtonand learn some manners. I'm telling everyone I know to never go there and just got to eliz."
