"The Gate pub now has a lovely new manager accompanied with a very good chef. At the moment you have curry a drink for £12 on Wednesday, Pie night with a drink on Thursday for £12, fish chips with a drink on a Friday for £13 can say the food is excellent."

"I'd been to the Wellington before and had been impressed; usually the food is very good, but for sunday roast it is to be AVOIDED. The meat was very overcooked, especially the beef; extremely tough. The giant yorkshire puddings were store-bought and hard as a rock. Potatoes were cooked well but entirely unseasoned. All in all it very much reminded me of the roast you get in a hospital. For a place that normally has good food it was shocking. I could cook a better roast with my eyes shut."

"I've been to a few Café s in my life time but The Pedlars Hall Cafe owned by Mrs Lawson and daughter tops them all. The Staff are so friendly and welcoming and the place has a lovely warm atmosphere about it. The food is so good and made fresh to order. There is a specials board where you can chose from a variety of good old English main meals, and a choice of Traditional puddings to follow and the price includes a complementary Tea or their famous milky coffee for an extremely reaonable price of £6.90 or children £3.95. I definitely recommend this delightful family run Cafe and visit frequently S A Meijer"

"Very pleasant café a few miles outside Wisbech, on the same site as the West Fens Air Museum (why not combine the two? . Good range of sandwiches, light meals and hot drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good prices. Attentive staff."

"Food in this place WAS good 2 years ago, gone downhill rapidly, food is not worth the prices they 're trying to charge now, The Rathskeller burger is a big let down, burger didnt look overly appetising with the Hockey puck burger patty inside, I had to cut the burger up like you would a cake to take a bite of the thing, just gonna cut it short now and say the best thing about my visit was my pint, so that 's something I guess ? Not impressed. Meal type: Dinner"
