"I've been a couple of times and it really made an impression as I particularly wanted to return when I happened to be staying in Leeds with my family. The atmosphere is lovely with live piano music, spectacular views over the canal and large high ceilings and chandeliers. The service is a little chaotic with someone offering us drinks and as they leave the table someone else approaching us from another angle to offer us more drinks. The food is very good and the drinks (all non alcoholic) offer a fair amount of variety but don't assume the lack of alcohol will reduce your bill! Soft drinks are five pound each. Pickles , poppadoms, and everything is charged separately. Children's meals are seven pounds each. Main meals are served without any accompaniments so everything has to be bought separately. Two course meal for two adults and one course for my two children produced a whopping £80 bill! It was a lovely meal but I wouldn't expect a bill that big outside of a Michelin star restaurant."

"Fantastic food. I ate off the specials menu but two of my party had the much talked of sea bass and raved about it. The vine leaves starter also went down a treat. Lovely ambience. Service was a little slow when it came to bringing our first drinks but after that it was perfectly pitched."

"Been here twice now and have been impressed on both occasions. Friendly atmosphere, with a homely feel to the place. I’m not Italian but I would imagine it to be the sort of place I would go if I was and lived locally to get some home cuisine. Prices seem reasonable and the staff are helpful and pleasant. Parking not the easiest right outside as there are limited spots. However, there are lots of side roads to park on for free within walking distance."

"Ordered here for iftaar ,got pizzas and a full peri chicken ! It was delicious ordered via the chunkys app , I rang in to advise the staff that I wanted it ready just before iftaar and that's exactly what they did ! Well done chaps !"

"Previously had a minor problem here, Amanda the manager was amazing and dealt with it so professionally!! 10 star rating from my two pups, as they were spoiled with beef when we went on Sunday We go here often and it is such a nice environment, with amazing food and staff! "Sam Smiths brewery are slowly killing the Harewood Arms, it’s a real shame. Harewood village is beautiful and deserves a better pub than one that is owned by clowns. We visited for Sunday lunch last weekend, to start with the menus are dirty and greasy and offer a very poor choice only 3 or 4 items to choose from and a take it or leave it attitude from the ‘chef’. They only take cash which must be a new policy but maybe not so new because the landlady kept a perfectly straight face when she told me the nearest cash point was 5 miles away. There’s also a zero tolerance policy on mobile phones but bizarrely its the staff who face instant dismissal if they fail to enforce the rule. No wonder there were only 3 or 4 sets of customers. The 10 mile round trip to a cash point wasn’t justified by the food on offer so we walked across the road to Muddy Boots where were had lovely food and a wider range of payment options."
