"Menu updated from the other photos on google. We went mid afternoon since not much was open. We ordered veggie chowmin and pork momos and a masala tea. Server told us after we got our food that the prices were more than the menu, but then honored the menu prices. Food was fine, nothing great. 27rm for all"

"Very good and authentic Melaka nyonya food. Stir fried Brinjal with Sambal hairdresser is the signature dish, so was the pineapple prawn curry. The deep fried fish is fantastic because of the Sambal belacan. The Cendol was good, creamy with sufficient gula melaka. Very recommended. The restaurant is connected to a Kebaya shop on the other side, Heeren St."

"A pub right beside the Melaka river. The drinks are cheap and the ambient is nice and quiet. The bartender is friendly and if you're equally as friendly as him, you might get some beer for free. Wheelchair friendly. I recommend getting a seat at the side of the river and enjoy the people cruising around."

"The place is calm and serene. You instantly know you feel better..It might be because of the quiet, cleanliness, the indoor plants and zen music or all of it. The food looks healthy and appetizing. Vada was amazing..do try it. The paratha set was slightly on the spicier spectrum. I loved the mint curry they served with Paratha Set."

"Place is located in a residential area so that you can easily miss this place (it is just down the road from where the Ujong Pasir Tuesday pasar malam is held). The restaurant is located on the street side and not in the middle of a residential property. There are many parking spaces directly opposite the square as well. The place has no inside seats. Since all tables are outdoors, you have to rely on natural breeze. So you could sweat if you have your meal if there is no breeze on that day. You have fans around, so you might be able to choose tables that are in front of the fan. Menu only have a few articles of meat (chickens, beef, mutton), fish, shrimps, eggs, vegetables, and they even have a small selection of western foods. Think of them as zhu char place but with some Portuguese dishes. We had the deviled curry chicken, ziccalok egg, black pepper eggplant and Portuguese grilled fish (we had siakap). The food here is amazing!! Honestly, I never had Portuguese food, so I didn't know what to expect (except for circus). But the dishes surprised us all. Deviled chicken curry was really tasteful and delicate, and the sauce was so thick and fragrant. The Auberginengericht surprised us most. It was such a unfair dish, with grilled/baked eggplant, with black pepper and salt, I think that was crispy. Omg, the black pepper just contributed to the scent of the plate without being too sharp. The crunch from black pepper also gave it a texture from soft and damp eggplant. We recommend both the deviled curry and the black pepperplant! The Portuguese barbecue was also delicious. Fish was super damp and not boiled in the least. When the fish was halved before cooking, the lower part of the fish was charred, which contributed to the mokiness to the sauce, which was swallowed on the fish. So good la, you have to try alone to understand how we felt at dinner. I'm looking forward to return to this place when I'm in Melaka. "

"Authentic Portuguese style cooking. Curry sauce from Curry Deval Chicken is simply not too hot with fresh juicy chicken. The Sambal Sotong is a bit sweet and spicy than the Curry Debal Chicken, but very nicely cooked. The squids were cooked for perfection, not chewing at all. I personally recommend the Fried Brinjals because you can simply eat the crispy skin of Brinjals. It's good with the steamed rice. The Portuguese sauce Prawns is cooked with dark soy sauce and onions. Fresh shrimps with soft shells, the ladles and bowls are easy to peel."

"Food here was definitely exceptional. Truly was satisfying for every dish that I had. I had the vegetarian meal c/w 3 vegetables sides and 3 choices of vegetarian gravy. Since it was a Friday we were served with a cup full of payasam too which was really delicious. Their atmosphere also was so clean and hygienic. Their staff was also so helpful and friendly. Definitely a 5 star food experience for me."

"Love the place. The freshest sashimi in town. The ambience was great. Was our second visit in a month. First visit we could see that they sanitized every table after the customer left. This gave us reassurance to come back the second time. However we did not see this practice anymore during the second visit. MANAGEMENT, hope you can continue the sanitizing practise. The food was superb. Go for it if you love Japanese. Some items on the menu are not found in other places. Do take note the price is on a very high side. Took us more than RM1k for both visits in total. Overall a great place to experience fresh Japanese on special occasions. Not for your daily meals."
