"From the warm welcome to the great service to the delicious food, The Fox and Hounds definitely hits the mark. I had roast beef and my wife had roast pork both from the local Knightwick Butchers, just down the road. Everything was cooked to perfection and accompanied by great local ales and ciders. What a contrast to our last Sunday roast at Rick Stein's Cornish Arms. This was 10 times better! The team at the Fox and Hounds could certainly teach Rick a thing or two about quality food and service!"

"Even if you are not staying at the Cotford Hotel, a visit to the restaurant is a must. It has a host of awards and it is easy to see why. Chris produces some amazing dishes with something to tempt everyone and with an extensive wine list to compliment the food, it is a first class gastronomic experience."

"I called today with a friend and our dogs after a walk in the one. We were greeted with very friendly staff who gave our dogs friendly plenty of water. we had a piece of homemade carrot cake and victoria sandwich, both were delicious. would definitely recommend and will immerse again. a lot of luck for them all in their new venture."

"We ate here recently with friends one Saturday eve recently. The building from the outside was imposing, lovely lake at the front. On arrival we noticed poor lighting, and dated decor, reminiscent of a care home actually. Quite bare and bland. Staff were quite standoffish, we didn’t feel welcome, diffident. Food- good menu and varied but when it arrived we all noticed everything was very salty, almost unpalatable. The waiter never came to ask us how our food was or offered us wine with our meal, we felt almost as it was too much trouble. Tired room, dated and drab, really could do with an overhaul inside. Shame as the basics were there. Food was nicely presented but the taste was totally decimated with salt. Little basic things missing such as ground black pepper on the table only white available, This review may sound petty but to pay £180 for 4 of us, 1 bottle wine at £24 was not the most expensive item. We went away feeling very underwhelmed and disappointed. No we will not return here and certainly will not be recommending to others… there is a lot of competition around."

"Omg the welcome, the hospitality and the FOOD. What a genuinely wonderful experience the new owner Jane bought. Firstly remembering us, greeting us ensuring we were served quickly with a no nonsense and nothing was too much trouble. The food was so special even to how the menu was written… you had no choice but to salivate!! Honestly we ordered EVERY starter as we couldn’t pick and usually we can’t find things we like on a 8 deep starter menu… divine, will be BACK SOON!!!"

"Christmas meal was awesome. The main course (I chose Turkey) Very generous portions with a fantastic selection of vegetables. Roasters were the best I have ever eaten. Starters and dessert were delicious too. Definitely recommend"
