"We really enjoyed our meal at Kindl Schwan. Both of us had the vegetarian dinner of dumplings with mushroom gravy and then we shared a salad. It was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and the salad was very fresh. We finished by sharing lemon tiramisu for dessert, so creamy and refreshing on a warm day. The owners were so friendly. We would love to eat here again if we travel back to Munich."

"Wir hatten im beschatteten Außenbereich recht einfach einen Platz bekommen. Es gibt eine Mittagskarte mit einer kleinen, aber sehr ansprechenden Auswahl, auch für Vegetarier. Die Preise sind für Münchnerverhältnisse normal. Als Beispiel: Zwiebelrostbraten mit Salat und Kässpätzla 24,50 Euro. Der Service war sehr freundlich und flott. Wir werden wiederkommen. Für Personen mit Handicap ist die Toilette im UG nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Ebenso der Ratskeller."

"Interesting evening. Slightly shocked how expensive the restaurant is. I ordered a local filet steak 250gr and paid 40 euros for it. It was served just steak on a plate, no gravy, nada. The quality of the steak was not very good nor was it seasoned. We were given ketchup which even shocked me more, normally with this price class you get a steak gravy which compliments the meat but not here. We ordered sweet potato fries and creamed spinach at 6.50 each (very small servings). I used the cream from the spinach to pour over my steak. Good wine list. We had a lovely young lady who served us. I think she said her name was Lisar. She spoke both English and German, she was very nice, helpful and attentive. There was another young man working with her who was as rude as hell, no personality just complete rudeness and ignorance. Another table were trying to get his attention and he simply didn't care, it was like you were bothering him. Decor and ambience was very very nice. Not sure if I would return."
