"The best riders in New Plymouth (sorry Kev, but it's true - forget it) hands down. You have Guiness on Hahn and have I mentioned the best chips in town? You also have a fire so that you can gather about it for the 10 months of the year when the weather Poo. If the weather is good my little boy and I sit in the sun on the plaster tables. He's watching the cars go outside and I'm looking for mats that might work on Thursday and letting them down in a sympathetic way while I enjoy my pint. Delicious Guiness and delicious chips. I'm not really sure what else you want from a pub (or need)."

"Went there last Saturday after arriving in New Plymouth as our Motor Lodge had a Menu and it was great, decent tasty steak aswell as Fish’ n’ Chips. Friendly and helpful staff rounded the day up just fine. Very reasonable good prices aswell won’t cost you an arm and a leg . Anytime again cheers"
