"I was so excited to try Cadence, as I’d heard a lot about it, and I love all of Ravi DiRossi’s other restaurants. Let me tell you, it was everything I’d hoped and more we immediately planned to come back, because we didn’t get too try everything we wanted. The black-eyed pea pancake was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted, and the corn bread is out of this world. The only thing that wasn’t spectacular was dessert, but there are lots of other places in the neighborhood for that, so you can take a walk to burn off some of dinner, and then go for something sweet!"

"The food is awesome! But the service at the counter is a little on the salty side. They talk to each other while servicing the food. I feel that 's a little to the none hygienic side. AT NOTHER TIME: I sat in the back with my family and that service is awesome. Just calm it down on the asking how 's the food or do we need anything else . She came around like 5 times and we was there for like a good 40 minutes (we ordered a lot of food)."

"This was some of the best vegan food I've ever had in my life, by far. The restaurant was clean and quiet, the server was super friendly, the food came out fast (even though it was busy during lunch), and the food tasted outstanding. Finding vegan food at this level of skill and flavor is really rare and I'm so happy I got to try it. If you're ever in Manhattan, Peacefood is a must."

"We had a mixed experience here. The food, although flavorful, was definitely not up to Michelin quality. The shaking beef was not very tender at all, which was disappointing considering the amount of time it took for our food to arrive. We also had the duck, which was cooked to perfection, but for a pasta dish, 4 bites of noodles left us hungry. To top it off, the service was just ok, nothing special at all. Meh."
