"Definitely wish I had read the reviews before coming here. First item I ordered was the garlic oysters which left something to be desired. Garlic sauce was ok, but seemed they were a little over cooked. Definitely would have been better if they were grilled in the shell instead of the attempt at fancy dining shells, imo. Next, the chowder was served as my side to the salmon. Honestly, it tasted like cambels chowder straight out of the can. Definitely would not recommend... Finally the salmon, it was plated beautifully but was over cooked and the mashed potatoes were over seasoned leaving them inedible. Having worked in restaurants, I informed the waitress and was told everyone in the kitchen was new. Maybe that's the reason, maybe not. . But if you're willing to throw away some good money to see if they get it right, be their guest. "

"I just had the most wonderful dinner with my husband and our close friend here. The food, the wine, dessert, everything absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Jo (sorry, if I wrote your name wrong) was amazing! She had so much fun talking. I recommend visiting this authentic Italian restaurant. I will definitely eat again in the near future! (Sep 27, 2017) Add more to my review! (May 8, 2018) My husband and I had the pleasure of going to Il Paesano Ristorante Italiano for our date night on Tuesday for the last weeks. I honestly cannot say how much I love this place. Jo is our favorite waitress ever, we love to talk to her and always hear her recommendations. Today we have 3 dishes plus 2 desserts, each of them was delicious. I loved every dish I've ever ordered. I strongly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!"
