"A very pleasant nights stay here. Lovely,clean,warm, room with a very nice ensuite shower/toilet. The hairdryer cord was very restricted though as it has a very short cable. Lovely dining room, we had breakfast which was nice but the bacon was hard and there were no eggs. Overall, a very nice place to stay though"

"We came here this afternoon for a family birthday. We were a large group and our table wasn’t ready, so we had to sit/ stand and wait for the people on our table to leave, which felt a little awkward and uncomfortable for us and...I’m sure them too. We had emailed our order through, as requested, three days prior to our booking. Our food came out and we were missing a whole meal and two meals had mushy peas, which we hadn’t asked for. The member of staff told us we hadn’t ordered the missing meal (a hunters chicken) and read our order as he had written it. We had to go to our email and show him that we had in fact ordered two hunters chickens and not one. One was made for the teenager who was missing and brought out. Unfortunately by the time it was brought out, most of the rest of our party had almost finished their meals! Some of our party went to the bar to order desserts and the staff asked if they could have the table they’d vacated for other guests, so they were obviously busy and we began to feel we were in the way. We hurried our desserts and left, so they could reuse our table. Despite this, the pies we ordered were absolutely delicious, the chips are some of the best I have ever eaten and the curry’s were beautiful. The child’s meal of sausage and mash didn’t come with gravy, which seemed bizarre, but we had extra with all the pies, so were able to give him some of ours. I’d like to come again, we live locally and pass on our way to and from work, so it is convenient, but I don’t think it’s suitable for a large booking, especially on a Sunday, I don’t think they can cope. We will try midweek next time and definitely have a pie again!"

"The large and well-furnished garden center at the edge of the garden center sheffield ferndale has been open for years. many parking spaces and a fairly large caffe in the interior. well equipped with a large selection of bed linen plants, shrubs, trees pears and open seven days the week."

"Came with friends for a birthday meal had no limonade at the bar, the eating was ordered everything wrong asked for a burger with everything on him when the man is autistic came out with everything on him!!! I ordered...pie and chips asked for additional gravy came with fervent they were stone cold not asking if they had already been the chips various were cold to send it back"

"We live in kent and travel in our home. we wanted to meet the family in dronfield for an evening meal and also needed somewhere to stay overnight, so arranged to book a table and ask if we could stay overnight in their parking place. they could not ask a friendly and helpful renter. service, food and hospitality were excellent. would definitely come back here when they visit family."
