"We love little places with one or two or, even better, no Michelin stars — just a mention, and Profumo’s door is covered with those red dots we like to see! It did not disappoint. This was Sunday dinner for us, and lots of other diners wandered in as we ate. (Reserve your table via email. We felt we had a true taste of Sardinia at the end of our meal, all the way from antipasti — fried musky octopus— to dolce. We’ll be back, and recommend this homey place to any adventurous palate of any age!"

"Well oh well, this Indian restaurant just made me feel like home. After 7 days in Italy, I was craving for some some food and I was not disappointed by Maharajah Restaurant. My wife and I, ordered extra spicy kadai chicken and dal makhani and it was just amazing. The staff was really courteous and made us feel like home. The thing that amazed me was that, the restaurant had more Firangi people than Indians. That shows how good this restaurant would be. Cheers"

"This small bistro and wine bar was a wonderful find, located in the pedestrianised side streets between the via Belsiana and the Spanish Steps. We used it a couple of times for lunch-time or pre-dinner drinks and were impressed enough to book dinner. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, but service is prompt and attentive, with an enthusiastic young team. The range of wines is broad enough to offer good choice without baffling. Similarly the menu provides a good range of straightforward but really flavoursome food. If you are seeking an alternative to the white-jacketed waiters and gruff formality of many restaurants in Rome, then di qua is a refreshing revelation. Wines and Food are of a high quality, but at reasonable prices and underpinned by a great ambience. A really great experience and highly recommended."

"Beautiful setting, a haven of classy calm much appreciated after a crazy day in Rome. The menus you see online cover all times of the day. Evening a la carte menu had no options for vegetarians, but the restaurant coped admirably."

"Would I come back here? Yes Would I recommend to friends and family? Yes If you are looking for a sandwich in the testachio market then look no further. I eat a lot of sandwiches and hold high expectations. Mordi e Vai met those expectations. Food: 5/5: if you're are looking a sandwich that has few ingredients but is made to perfection then order to Allesso di Scottonia (no substitutions). The meat is tender and amazing. They have other options which I would love to try again in the future. Ambiance: 4/5: The testachio market is an open/semi-outdoor market where you can buy fruit/vegetables, deli meat, clothing/purses, specialty food/spices/goods, and try amazing food. It's not a huge market but it's worth doing a 30min stroll. Great spot to come to if the people you're with all want to eat something different. There is pasta, pizza, sandwiches, fruit, coffee, and more."

"We were touring Europe when we landed in Rome. A very friendly Bangladeshi waiter directed us to Flavours of India. Though the name is on India but the owner and his stuff including cook is from Bangladesh. The sweets, the food was extremely good. The elderly waiter even helped us to get our food in Hotel which wasn't very far from the restaurant. The Kingfisher beer was another added flavour to the whole story. Sitting in Rome but food of India we were extremely happy and ended up having all the 3 proceeding meals from there only and let go Italian cuisine out of the window. The place is also family friendly, close to main train terminal and clean. Thanks Dada for feeding the 3 hungry Indians! Dhonnobaad."

"After a visit to the Vatican, the location of this place is extremely convenient. The buffet was small and the food was tasty, hot and fresh. The place is tiny and mostly patronised by Indians. The rest room was tiny and there is only 1. Since we travelled in a group, and it was a COLD and rainy day, this was hugely inadequate. The tiny cafeteria adjoining was a much better and cleaner alternative. This would be a good place for a quick and reasonably priced lunch."
